“Nataz in Southington is a true gem! We had my company’s holiday party here mid-week during the day before they opened for regular dinner service and it was AMAZING! The setup was great for our group and the restaurant was decorated beautifully. We had two dedicated waitresses, Sara and Heather, who went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a drink upon sitting down and that everyone got their food in a timely manner. Both Sara and Heather were very polite and accommodating, even weaving in and out of our employees and Santa participating in a gift exchange. Special thank you to Chuck for setting everything up for us! The food was exceptional! From the grazing boards to the salads to the entrees and dessert, everything was flavorful and cooked/presented perfectly. If you are looking for a great local place with really good food, check out Nataz for your next event or dinner out with family/friends. You definitely will not be disappointed!”

“First time ever dining at Tuscany, but not my last! What a treasure! I had the beast veal Franchise ever! I ate the whole thing! The bread was crusty on the outside and soft inside and the salad was fresh and cold. The service was fantastic—the owners/chef came out to meet us.”

“I've learned, when you order something new when you're out always ask about flavors of item, seasonings, etc. The street corn for instance should have nothing on it. Was too greasy. The brussel sprouts would have been fine just roasted. Asked about the sauce it was cooked with after I tried them. Doesn't need sauce, again made it greasy and the taste for me personally too sweet. Ate 4 pieces and pushed it aside. Later upset my stomach. NY strip was good but price points are high and honestly should be a thicker cut. Basically overall restaurant could save money 💰 by eliminating sauces, imitation butter, etc. I know this is a national chain but large corporations don't get it.... keep it simple...”

Little do you know, I ordered this meal for my mom who spent the entire day in the hospital with my grandma. “This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I was biased even before I started this review, because I absolutely loved Transcend beers at many beer festivals they were present and also visited their previous location in Southington once and bought every beer they had available (spoiler: they were awesome). So I pretty much knew what to expect.

The brewery occupies a big chunk of a building. There's plenty of parking space available. Inside, there's a huge hangar-style room and another smaller room with games for the kiddos. There's a full kitchen available. I tried their meat pizza and it was delicious.

As for the beers, I noticed that the brewery shifted their brewing habits. If their taps were full of pastry sours before, those are the minority now. 9 beers were available on tap during my visit, with 4 of them being Double/Triple IPAs. They do not serve beer flights, but almost every beer can be ordered as a full, half or small pour. For this review I tried every beer they had. And I was still impressed. I'm tired of IPAs in craft breweries, but their La Mort Au Nord (Triple IPA) was astonishing. My final vote goes to Ink (Barrel Aged Imperial Stout) though, as it was incredibly thick, rich and complex in taste.

I absolutely recommend visiting this brewery to any craft beer enthusiast. It deserves a dedicated trip here just to enjoy new memorable flavors.”

“*update: Bar Experience. The bar was very well equipped, the bartender ( Alex) was very attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. Carlos made sure everyone was tended and had what they needed. Great teamwork behind the bar. The food Experience at the bar matched that of the dining room experience. The bar and restaurant was busy but Alex, Carlos and all of the staff hustled and the food was hot, tasted wonderful and of course left me wanting desert. If you have not visited this establishment, you are missing out. Everything from their service, their extensive drink menu, their delicious "tapas", their creative specials, their daily menu to their tray of deserts is an experience. Come on by, I promise you will not be disappointed. Check out the updated Bar Experience pictures. A hidden Gem in downtown Southington. This is our second visit here and we are absolutely in love with this restaurant. From its eclectic decor, super attentive staff to its fabulously fantastic tasting tapas and entrees....where do I truly begin. The owners ( Rob, is always stopping by to say hello and check in) are visible and make you feel welcomed, my waitress Alyssa was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious. The pictures below do no justice to the flavors that pop as you are eating them. You can't wait to come back. Oh I almost forgot....the drinks....the best Sangrias!!!! Yes! Sangrias...Sangrias!! You must stop by.”

“Last week my family and i had dinner at Flair which is one of our favorite restaurants and Hector the owner told us his family bought Fratellis. We said we would come in this week snd try out the new restaurant. We had told Hector the we loved clams casino and he remembered and even though they were not on the menu he brought some to us from Flair. They were excellent. We also had the best chicken dish ever which was called chicken fratellis. It was very obvious that Hector and his family bent over backwards to ensure our experience was amazing and.......it was. “Just had our first meal here. The entire restaurant is filthy. Our dishes that held our silverware were reused. Our table was dirty To where we washed it with our drinking water. We were ready to leave but had put in our order and wanted to try food. The food Was decent but pricey for amount you got. Called manager over to show him how thick the dust was on ledge where everyone sits And eats. He said he was new. Not an excuse. Restaurant was empty now I know why. The whole place smells dirty as soon as you sit down and have to breathe in one spot. This restaurant will not last if things don't Change. It will be a repeat of Chips restaurant all over again.”

“My boyfriend and I went to Cava for our one year anniversary. The food was fantastic and the drinks were as well. The atmosphere was to die for especially the beauty and the beast part! Our server, Justin, was phenomenal. As someone who works in the industry I strive to be him someday. He was attentive, fun, very personable and even took pictures of me and my boyfriend! They smelled the salad and agreed with me something unfortunately went bad in the salad. They exchanged it out for something different and I went about my day. 10/10 recommend. “I recently hosted my son’s 1st birthday party of over 100 guests at Hawks Landing. Jeff & Paul were absolutely amazing to work with. I work with a lot of different venues all over Connecticut with my event planning business and this place is truly next level. The attention to detail and the way the entire staff works together to really give you everything you envision is hard to come by. Paul and I designed the entire event menu from scratch. Anything I asked for, he made happen! My biggest concern was that I didn’t want guests waiting too long for food but I also didn’t want a sit down meal. Paul suggested we do multiple food stations around the space so nobody was waiting. He also had his staff start with passed appetizers while everyone was mingling. It worked out PERFECTLY. My theme was “Jack’s 1st rodeo.” Paul even offered to request that his staff wear jeans and a flannel shirt to match my vibe. Every single member of the Hawks team had such a hand in perfecting the day. My guests are still raving about the food and experience more than a month later. They really made the day so special and I couldn’t be more grateful to Jeff, Paul and the entire Hawks team! ♥️”

“I really wanted to absolutely love this pizza and it was a really good New York style slice however the end 2in of the pizza were undercooked so you got this doughy flour flavor in your mouth with the first couple bites but once we ate through that and got to the pizza that was cooked correctly it was delicious. Then she never came back to get us a 2nd cup of coffee. Busy at times but it only takes 10 seconds to pour coffee & the mugs are extremely small! Seems she catered to larger tables (bigger tips)! Way too expensive for the poor service. Prices on menu online are not updated”
