“I've been going to Hong Kong Kitchen for years. They've been consistently good. The service is exceptional, especially delivery driver! Their prices are reasonable. The owners have changed but it's stayed within a family. Soups are good. I recommend the House Special Chow Mei Fun, Chicken with broccoli in garlic sauce,and the French fries.
They will adjust your food according to taste.“

“Ask anyone in Bristol whether in person or on various social media pages, they’ll say Sun Fat Chinese is one of the best in the area. By the looks of it, at any given day..it’s always busy, so it’s by far the most popular Chinese restaurant in the area…I won’t say the best.
Quick Note - Pretty much all the Chinese restaurants in this area all charge the same and the meals are the same..look at the menu, select food, pay and wait for it. The ones up here also give you a choice of egg roll or soup to go with your lunch order..that’s not just here, but ALL of the restaurants here in the Bristol/Plainville area.
Food - I’ve been here on a couple of times and have tried various items from the pepper steak to the chicken and broccoli to the sesame chicken. It’s all your standard Chinese food restaurant..I don’t see where it is that far ahead of all the rest. Sesame Chicken was good…but not fantastic. You get a heaping portion of it but a ton of rice as well. The egg roll is sometimes soft, other times hard enough to go through a brick wall.
Parking - It’s in the strip mall next to Subway in the MarketEdge/Price Chopper on Farmington Ave/Route 6/72.
I’m giving it 4* total for a couple reasons…first being, no..I didn’t do a phone order..I never do on anything, it’s always as a walk-in. Got there at 2:55, went to order the lunch and was told “it ends at 3.”…I know, it’s not 3pm yet..I’m not one to argue so I said it is whatever and just give me the regular portion then…so because of that and the egg roll being rock hard, I’d give it on a 1-5…3.8-4.1“

“Normally…Sun Fat or Lotus are my to-go spots for Chinese food here in the Bristol area..but someone wanted Chinese and said to try this place because it’s excellent. My main thing when trying a new place is the Sesame Chicken..very basic and easy to tell if you have to add something to it.
Last night..I got the sesame chicken combo..instead of like most places where you have to request them to cook it soft (because it’s usually hard or clumpy)..not this place. It was almost like the style you get when you do the chicken and broccoli. It had excellent flavor and so did the pork fried rice..I didn’t need to add any soy or duck sauce..it was that good.
Normally…when eating Chinese food, as with anyone, you get that bubble gut feeling or you’re hungry an hour later…this was the first time I sat and ate the whole thing in one sitting..AND wasn’t hungry afterwards. I forgot to do the picture til I was halfway through and even then I wanted to continue to dig in.
Definitely a 4.7 out of 5 and/or 9.5 out of 10.“

“Had the house fried rice. Has shrimp, chicken, beef, egg and sprouts. Was very good. Also General Tao’s chicken was tasty. The brocalli was cooked to perfection on each order on separate occasions. I would have preferred slightly larger chunks of chicken but was cooked crispy and the sauce was good.. The steamed dumplings hit the spot! Pleasant employees and delivery man. Quick delivery. Good food also 2 weeks ago. Will order from here again as long as prices stay steady.I would give 4 1/2 stars if I could!!“

“We ordered lunch specials sweet and sour chicken, boneless spare ribs and wonton soup. The sweet and sour chicken was juicy and the rice is delicious requesting no veggies in it which they did ( some forget) big pieces of pork in the rice. The boneless spare ribs were thin and tender and the rice with vegetables is excellent. Wonton great broth with alot of wontons. They threw in a vegetable roll excellent and not greasy. We were very happy they delivered earlier then they said The only thing I regret is not giving the driver a bigger tip!“

“We order take out from these guys at least 2x a month and we love the food. I am very picky when it comes to Chinese food. It cannot be oily or have a strange aftertaste. We have tried many restaurants and if it is not Up to Par the first time, the number is deleted and we move on. This location is a keeper. The ingredients are fresh, the food comes hot, they make it pretty quick and the price is reasonable. You will not be disappointed.“

“Don’t know why people are leaving reviews like it’s poison food ? it’s salty and slightly greasy which is what I expect from a Chinese food place. Only thing I didn’t like was the egg drop soup it was pretty bland. Did no contact delivery and driver didn’t knock or ring bell or anything so my food sat out there for awhile in the sun before I even knew they had come (at least 15 mins) so that sucks for a 20% tip“
