“The last few weeksI have ordered fish and chips and 4 large pieces and nicely cooked french fries. 6/17/2026 I ordered the same got 3 pieces the fishwas so dry and cooked too long you couldn't eat around the edges too hard, th french fries were over cooked to some were burnt. this was a take out. this has happened a couple times. then no salad or bread in the order. so we didn't get the whole order. I love there food but and people so we are going to try one more time.“

“We visited Mario’s for the first time on Friday Feb 27th after seeing a Facebook ad for their fish and chips dinner. We were beyond surprised and very pleased with the entire experience. The fish and chips was the best we have had, the waitress was very attentive and friendly. Although the place is small it was super busy with lots of take out orders but that didn’t affect the dining room orders coming out in a timely fashion. We most definitely will be visiting again real soon to see what other delicious choices they have on their menu. Great job Mario see you again soon.“

“Wasn't sure what to expect from this pizza place! No up to date menu online, website or much for social media presence, but after eating I appreciate what they are going for! Quaint, old school, simple, hole in the wall, but very clean inside. Most importantly though is the pizza and it was impressive! Can't remember the last time I ordered bacon on a pizza and got actual strips! The toppings were delicious and clearly fresh. I wasn't huge on the doughiness and density of the crust, but that issue luckily didn't carry over to the bread underneath the pizza itself. Truthfully, it wasn't enough for me to knock them down a star. Special take out place here in Monson.. will be back!“

“Took a trip to DiFiore Ravioli shop in Ellington, CT. They make 15 varieties of homemade Ravioli, sauces, oils, amazing desserts, and more. We picked up the TENDERLOIN & BACON ravioli, and the SHRIMP & ROASTED GARLIC ravioli. They were out of the lobster ravioli, but we picked up the homemade Tiramasu. While there we saw they made gourmet sandwiches, which we ordered and ate outside. They were amazing, so big, we could only eat half (pics taken after we started) Great place, staff were fantastic!! Very nice people. We will definitely return!!!“

“I don't get this place as far as the quality of the pizza is concerned. Their Amhest pizza is the best, so good you can't stop. Get any other pizza and it's meh, at best. There's a weird white, cheap tasting nachos like cheese they put on some of these that just ruin it. A plain ole pepperoni is just blah, the easiest one to make. What I don't get is the pizzas by the slice look amazing, a far cry from what you pick up.“

“First time visiting. Love the atmosphere & decor. We were seated right away for a Friday night dinner with no reservation. Service was great. Meals were fantastic! We had Chicken Parmesan and Gorganzola on Main. The portions were so large that I had two more meals of the chicken gorganzola to bring home (not a complaint). Definitely worth it! My only negative comment is that there was supposed to be spinach in that dish and if it was there, it was cut too small to find. We will go back!“

Was brought here to enjoy Grinders, as it's not common or a known thing in the south.

Food was amazing. Bread was crisp and warm.
Enjoyed some pickle and eggplant fries as well.
