“always love coming here, they are always on time but today was not the day to make me wait 75 minutes for my order. My son and I spent 3 hours at CCMC for his final cardiologist appointment... then I wait for food!!! I honestly wished I got something for me waiting so long. I've been going there since they opened... I will continue to go but if this happens again I might not 🤔🤔“

“Needed an emergency last-minute gluten-free pizza fairly late on a Sunday. Stafford House Of Pizza seriously “delivered”!
The folks that needed it said it was the best gluten free pizza they’ve had around here. I tried it too, and while I can consume gluten, this was just a really great pizza, gluten or not. Will be coming again!

“Blown away. New Haven style this far north is a treat! I became a devotee of this style after years of working south of Hartford…calzones are really nice too. This is my new go to place for takeout. Nice bar and cozy inside“

“We went for breakfast, the two women up front were so sweet. The lady turned on the witch for my baby to see, and even came out in the pouring rain to give her candy on our way out. They were closing early, but they were amazing to us even 30 minutes to closing when we came in. ( I didn’t realize they were closing early for the holiday.) The price and the service is far beyond 5 stars! Highly recommended stopping for a bite to eat. The food was just as amazing as the people working!“

“Nice little family business. Very friendly. Food was good. Room is nice and colorful. Only two things I did not like. First, they serve everything in plastic, glasses, salsa, plates... being from Europe where plastic is now banned for almost a decade, that has been quite shocking to see that nobody cares about it in the US. There is no planet B people!! Second, they do not serve alcohol. A Margarita would have been welcome with my dinner.“

“Me and my husband got married on Lake Chaffee Sept 14, 2024. The owners of the lake house suggested we use Midway Pizza for a fun wedding food idea!
Midway was FANTASTIC!! Not only was the pizza and salad great they were so accommodating delivering it to us. The price was right and everyone enjoyed their pizza!!!

“My daughter and I stopped here on our way back from a UConn tour - I’m vegetarian and the Mediterranean pasta was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had - highly recommend!!! My daughter ordered chicken and a side of fries, the fry order was huge for $5! I helped her eat the fries and we both couldn’t put a dent in it! Friendly staff, beautiful sunset view - if we are ever back in the area we will definitely stop back in!“

“Update: tried the house fried rice for the first time, highly recommend! Hot and sour soup is always excellent.The menu prices have gone up a little (about 50¢ more per entree type item) and the hours a different now too. They are only open on Tuesdays in December. Otherwise they are closed on Tuesday.Good Chinese, very friendly, very fast. The prices are reasonable and you get a good amount of food. I find it better than the other Chinese restaurant Hang's in Stafford.Be aware that there is no indoor seating. There's some picnic tables in the grass but appears to be mostly take out.“

“First time going for breakfast. Food was excellent..hats off to the cook! However I dont think ive had a worse waitress! She may have been owner as she had an English accent. She did not welcome us..crack one smile...check if our meals were ok.. nothing! Its a hell of a way to run a business if you want return customers.“
