“Good *hot* food. The spicy dishes have a good burn but not overwhelming. I had General Tso chicken; it was crispy with a very nice sauce, not too sweet. I hear the take out is just as good as dining in. It's a small building, parking and seating is limited. The atmosphere could use some help, it feels like a cafeteria. There is a table in the entrance breezeway that doesn't seem to have a purpose other than to trap you behind it if you want to hold the door open for anyone. All in all, great American Chinese food I look forward to having again.“

“We have been here to eat many times when visiting our daughter at UMass! We make a trip at least one morning for breakfast. Great options, including gluten free breads, I love getting French Toast with these breads. Friendly servers and Mike is always pleasant to chat with. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area.“

“A great little place for breakfast or lunch! They are open until 1 every day except Sunday when they close at 12:30. The service is great! My order was out quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. There aren't a lot of tables, but there always seems to be one available when you go in. The burgers are fantastic, as well as their breakfasts. The prices are very reasonable as well. Check out the mug 'n' muffin, you will not be disappointed!“

“Food was good. Fries were not hot but so much else we did not eat them anyway. I did not read the online menu properly the prices were for take out only I did not see that below the listing. I own that it was my fault . They had erased the prices off the board maybe because Saturday night. Prices on the drinks menu were not accurate . We ordered a capacino I expected a small cup as it was priced at $2 on the menu. Was a delicious drink in a glass but was $6. Was told that was old prices but on all the menus. I was charged 6 and was told they could not credit me as the owner was not there. The drink was probably worth 6 but the menu should be correct. My fish was very good. Salad mediocre mainly just lettuce and blue cheese dressing was very bitter. We will probably give it another try. Staff very good. I will ask the prices next time.“

“I have been eating at and ordering from Mandarin Wilbraham for 8 years. Every time, inside or at home, the food is fresh, hot and delicious! The staff is friendly and double checks for order correctness and specifics. When I call for take out they ask me if I would like my usual hot sauce. (Who would know that?) My order this evening was delivered and was not my order. They called me immediately and were back at my home in less than 10 minutes, all apologies. When my correct order came, again, piping hot, fresh and delish!! And with a smile. Accolades to your attention, excellent food and true dynamic of serving wonderful food to your neighbors! “Please be advised that on March 17 a patron of this restaurant had a bad experience. She proceeded to post about it on Facebook and several friends stated they were going to give Root 20 a bad review online. I have no problem with someone sharing their experience, but it’s not fair if people who have never visited write bogus reviews without having, a first-hand knowledge of the restaurant. It’s great to look online and be able to see what others have thought of a restaurant but, sadly, as with all things Internet related, there are some false reviews. I frequently visit route 20 and love the food and the staff. The owners are incredibly generous to , the community both in Wilbraham and Springfield. I am a public school teacher and route 20 has been very generous to my school and others.“
