“The last few weeksI have ordered fish and chips and 4 large pieces and nicely cooked french fries. 6/17/2026 I ordered the same got 3 pieces the fishwas so dry and cooked too long you couldn't eat around the edges too hard, th french fries were over cooked to some were burnt. this was a take out. this has happened a couple times. then no salad or bread in the order. so we didn't get the whole order. I love there food but and people so we are going to try one more time.“

“I was a little too harsh in my judgement! I come back some months later to try my luck with a BLT and a Rodeo Burger and I'm glad I did! The bacon on that BLT had some nice, cold crunch. The Rodeo Burger, while the Canadian bacon slices were fairly tiny, was to die for if throw some of the onion rings they give you on there.“

“We went for breakfast, the two women up front were so sweet. The lady turned on the witch for my baby to see, and even came out in the pouring rain to give her candy on our way out. They were closing early, but they were amazing to us even 30 minutes to closing when we came in. ( I didn’t realize they were closing early for the holiday.) The price and the service is far beyond 5 stars! Highly recommended stopping for a bite to eat. The food was just as amazing as the people working!“

“I kept getting moon card on not perfect and it really hurt my feelings until kolossos came and as the kind soul he is he used his spikey arm to transport me to his pizzeria to make me feel better and it did! “My husband George and I frequently go to our "neighborhood" SPOT in Tolland since it opened. It really feels like a home away from home where you can watch a game, collaborate with colleagues over dinner, have a birthday party or little league celebration. It is a place to go for all members of the family for any occasion. The main menu is thoughtful, and we look forward to the weekly specials which are delicious. Prime rib Thursdays is a favorite as well. They have specials on cocktails and mocktails with special touches like cranberries in the ice, or the chocolate drizzle in the Andes martini with whipped creme and Andes mint crumbles. We have not found anything that was not delicious and in appetizing and filling portions. They have adult homemade ice cream to crave! It has a slightly different ambiance in each corner, the sofa lounge area, the seated family dining area, the sports zone covered in big screen tv's and the bar area where you are treated like family and they remember what you like as soon as you sit down. I love their themed special events that pair delicious and unique appetizers, with bourbon, wine, whiskey while sommeliers and chefs discuss the flavor combinations introducing us to tastes that tantalize your whole palate while sharing the history or culture of what you are enjoying. In addition, they have trivia nights, karaoke, an annual car show in the fall, and other seasonal events. In moderate to mild weather, the outdoor covered area is great for listening to local bands and bringing people together. in a comfortable setting. The costs are comparable to other good restaurants, and well worth the experience. If there is any problem with your order (which can happen everywhere), they quickly remedy it. We appreciate the warm welcome every time we come in from the owner and his staff.“

“My daughter and I stopped here on our way back from a UConn tour - I’m vegetarian and the Mediterranean pasta was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had - highly recommend!!! My daughter ordered chicken and a side of fries, the fry order was huge for $5! I helped her eat the fries and we both couldn’t put a dent in it! Friendly staff, beautiful sunset view - if we are ever back in the area we will definitely stop back in!“

“Today was my first time back to Gio’s restaurant since I moved to Connecticut about 11 years ago. My friend and I used to bike here from our childhood homes and get their delicious gourmet grinders. The quality since then has NOT changed. My Red Dragon grinder was fresh and delicious. Just how I remembered it a decade ago. I am happy to confirm that in ten years the quality has not gone down and Gio was upfront with his kind interactions with all customers. The business has only grown and Gio deserves all the success! Hot and sour soup is always excellent.The menu prices have gone up a little (about 50¢ more per entree type item) and the hours a different now too. They are only open on Tuesdays in December. Otherwise they are closed on Tuesday.Good Chinese, very friendly, very fast. The prices are reasonable and you get a good amount of food. I find it better than the other Chinese restaurant Hang's in Stafford.Be aware that there is no indoor seating. There's some picnic tables in the grass but appears to be mostly take out.“
