Japanese Restaurants near Thomaston

“I ordered the most expensive roll, the lobster king roll, which had lobster and avocado inside and mango outside! This was my favorite roll EVER. Our server said that this same roll was also her favorite. I also had the Thomaston roll, tried the sunrise roll and the Mars roll. Still the Lobster king roll remains my favorite. I also highly recommend the shrimp tempura appetizer! Their dipping sauce is the best I've ever had!

Parking: Park in the plaza next door, over the bridge.“

“This place has won my loyalty for Sushi Rolls. I regularly come late at night and get the Atlanta Roll deep fried. The food here has soul and is rich in flavor. It’s always amazing. I tried another sushi place near the Taco Bell here in town that looks fancy but doesn't compare in the quality and savor of the food here. For those who value the quality of food this is the only place in Torrington I will go for Sushi and Japanese cuisine.

“Quaint space perfect for meeting up with friends or as a date night. Menu has plenty to offer and service is both friendly and quick. Prices match what you’d see at similar places , though the pieces of sushi did seem smaller. The serving size was spot on regardless and everything tasted great!“

“My family's favorite Japanese place. Everyone loves the teriyaki chicken, and we usually order sushi. I recommend the black dragon roll and the green dragon roll.A quick update: The sushi station sometimes closes a half hour or an hour before closing. You can still get grilled stuff of course.“

“Their miso soup is my favorite!! I’ve been all over the world, and still find their soup to be better than any I’ve tried. The fried rice and sushi are also great, I’m not a big raw fish eater though, so I opt for the vegetarian rolls.“

“Hands down the best hibachi restaurant around. The food is always fresh and the portions are big. The price is very reasonable for what you’re getting. The service is good. I usually dine by myself for lunch break. I’m not overly bothered by staff which is nice. It’s very clean also. In my opinion this restaurant is better than ALL surrounding towns that have a hibachi restaurant.“
