“One of the best authentic mexican food. I went on a sunday when they have their sunday brunch and the regular menu. I order the chilaquiles verdes and added chorizo, my husband ordered the loteria! . it was trully an amazing experience. Our friend ordered from the regular menu and they had the fish tacos, carnita taco, and chorizo taco which looked delicious! the drinks were also outstanding.”

“We got the Royal combo and the chicken nachos and the bacon cheeseburger baskets and the buried treasure drink and a couple of coronas. It was all delicious. The only complaint I would have is the size of the burgers is getting flatter and flatter over the past few months. The food is always delicious and is one of our favorite restaurants around here. The staff is always friendly although occasionally they forget something such as a small plate or a pickle but it's no big deal it's still a delicious food. Please vacuum above the net and on it”

“I absolutely LOVE this place. I almost wish they had a bigger spot and were open 24/7. lol. Seriously it's the most authentic and priced perfect. The chicken & rice is a staple at my house as well as the Cuban. You Ccant beat the little horn looking deserts filled w some delicious cream. I need to venture and try some other items considering I've ordered 50
Plus times from here but I'm a creature of habit!! You can't go wrong and the management is beyond friendly and accommodating.”

“I'm a Field Tech from Western MA. A friend of mine took me to Jimmy's 45 years ago. Torrington is a ways to go, but I take jobs there just so I can go to Jimmy's. In 45 years little has changed, especially the quality of the prepared foods. I was raised on Italian food, and this is as good as it gets. I have a job in Torrington tomorrow. See you for lunch, and get something special for Sunday dinner. And the staff there is a joy as well.”

“This place is amazing! We've been searching for a great breakfast (and lunch) place in Torrington and this place definitely fits the bill. Amazing food, great service and a hometown feel. Portions are huge and delicious. You have to try the peach crepes if they're on the specials menu. For the slightly less adventurous, the cheese omelette with sourdough toast (2 different kinds) is wonderful. Can't say enough about this restaurant. We'll be back soon!”

“have been to Brinx twice. Both times I had the everything bagel with cheese, egg and bacon. The bagel is slightly toasted and is both soft and tasty. They give plenty of cheese and plenty of bacon for the very reasonable price of $7.00, which is unmatched anywhere. The young man who serves is friendly and pleasant. The place looks a bit dusty but the tables are clean and the coffee is very good. I highly recommend this place.”

“I do prefer the DQ up north a little more, its so loud at this location- they always get our order wrong but I think its because they have such a hard time hearing us order. the ice cream is just bland vanilla, or white I should say cuz I don't think there's actually any vanilla in it. my daughter buys into the toppings, But I do not.”

They are always friendly, and I’m more impressed as they know how I like my coffee. “I had never been here before, But I will definitely be coming back. I just needed a snack so I ordered an eggroll and teriyaki beef stick appetizer, The steak is super tender, and really tasty, and the eggroll is perfect crispy and not all mushy inside. I don’t go out for Chinese very much because I can never find a place that does it right, I’ll update when I go back for a real meal

Last three visits, there were problems with each order….1st time, missing sweet &sour sauce for Sweet and Sour chicken combo meal, next time missing the egg rolls for the combo meals, now this time ordered (and paid for) teriyaki beef on a stick, got teriyaki chicken instead….used to be the best place around, but has gone down hill recently. I guess it’s time to re evaluate the other options in town.”

“This is a smaller eatery with lots of character and great service. I had breakfast and ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy and 2 lightly scrambled eggs, also smothered in the sausage gravy. Ordered, blinked, and my food was served, impressive for a small eatery. Great biscuits and sausage gravy and the eggs were cooked perfect. I also ordered home fries with onions which tasted great and were also cooked to perfection, I loved seeing the onions cooked well as in, some were even burnt, the way they're supposed to be. Stop by if you get a chance, you'll feel right at home.”

“I ordered catering for my small backyard wedding from franks. We always get our pizza from franks (which is the best in town) so I figured let’s get our catering from them too! We got the chicken piccata and sausage and peppers trays and we were blown away! I highly recommend franks. All of my guests loved it too everyone complimented the food. They were also very accommodating for us. We originally wanted food for 430 and then we wanted it sooner last minute so we called and they were there asap. Thank you franks !!!”
