“One of the best authentic mexican food. I went on a sunday when they have their sunday brunch and the regular menu. I order the chilaquiles verdes and added chorizo, my husband ordered the loteria! . it was trully an amazing experience. Our friend ordered from the regular menu and they had the fish tacos, carnita taco, and chorizo taco which looked delicious! the drinks were also outstanding.”

“We got the Royal combo and the chicken nachos and the bacon cheeseburger baskets and the buried treasure drink and a couple of coronas. It was all delicious. The only complaint I would have is the size of the burgers is getting flatter and flatter over the past few months. The food is always delicious and is one of our favorite restaurants around here. The staff is always friendly although occasionally they forget something such as a small plate or a pickle but it's no big deal it's still a delicious food. Please vacuum above the net and on it”

That you for the amazing atmosphere that in turn allowed me and my friend to have a fabulous date!!! I without a doubt highly recommend going to the restaurant for a great meal and a great time to match together!”

We ordered: Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, garlic cheese bread, chicken parm over ziti, eggplant parm over penne alla vodka, cavatelli with garlic,olive oil, sausage, chicken, and broccoli. Dessert was Tiramisu, limoncello cake, and New York cheesecake. Family atmosphere. They also have a private room you can book for parties. You can eat in the bar area or restaurant. The service is always excellent. It’s a shame I can’t post pictures here.”

“We had an errand to run in Torrington. Then, we were hungry. We found Tina's Cafe while driving around. We love finding small business owner establishments.

It was bright, cheery, and clean. Tina and Larry were so hospitable. THE FOOD WAS SO FRESH!! I got a breakfast sandwich, and Trevor got the Turkey Gobbler sandwich for lunch. i think it was a special. I can't remember.

The sandwiches were hearty and delicious. It was the best sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich I've ever had.”

“We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. We would highly recommend this super, hometown feel, very professional restaurant for everyone! (And I totally felt comfortable eating their gluten free options)”

“have been to Brinx twice. Both times I had the everything bagel with cheese, egg and bacon. The bagel is slightly toasted and is both soft and tasty. They give plenty of cheese and plenty of bacon for the very reasonable price of $7.00, which is unmatched anywhere. The young man who serves is friendly and pleasant. The place looks a bit dusty but the tables are clean and the coffee is very good. I highly recommend this place.”

“I'm a Field Tech from Western MA. A friend of mine took me to Jimmy's 45 years ago. Torrington is a ways to go, but I take jobs there just so I can go to Jimmy's. In 45 years little has changed, especially the quality of the prepared foods. I was raised on Italian food, and this is as good as it gets. I have a job in Torrington tomorrow. See you for lunch, and get something special for Sunday dinner. And the staff there is a joy as well.”

“On the first December snowy night we ventured out for something to eat. Finding that the Berkshire was open we headed that way. The parking lot was not plowed but we made our way in. Warmly greeted by the bartender we ordered drinks and dinner. Hot Cuban grinder and there loaded Bake Potato.”

“I come here weekly as a regular to both crumbs and toast, each and every time I've been to either establishment I've felt a warm welcome. The staff is always friendly, the buildings are both always tidy clean and with the seasons. Danika at the Crumbs location has mastered the art of coffee in general, not to mention when she makes food it shows how talented she is in general. Crumbs can be seen being held together by this one woman alone and not many places have a leader like Danika, so if you're looking for a place to get food and or drinks made right , come down to crumbs to try some of the many drink options and pastry treats, or even a breakfast sandwich, you won't be disappointed!”

“First time I’ve been here. Most everything was excellent. Amongst things I had was a hibachi combo with broccoli. The sauce was a little “too much” in terms of thickness/sweetness/quantity, but not bad. I requested the broccoli to be cooked soft and it came out excellent ! (Thanks)

“Last night we tried Sol Cafe for the first time. It is truly a hidden gem. The people are so nice, prices very reasonable and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. The food was out of this world! Our only regret was that we had not tried it sooner. Will be going back again soon!”

They are always friendly, and I’m more impressed as they know how I like my coffee. “First time getting takeout here - on Christmas day, no less. Our favorite Chinese takeout in town closed and the two that are left aren't very good so we made the 15 minute drive to Torrington.

The quality was top notch. We tried the steamed dumplings (large and stuffed well), beef w/ broccoli, chicken and shrimp lo mein (huge pieces of shrimp), pepper steak and onions, and garlic shrimp. The portions were above average and the prices were below average. The taste of everything was fresh and delicious. What more could you ask for. Will be a returning customer.”

Last three visits, there were problems with each order….1st time, missing sweet &sour sauce for Sweet and Sour chicken combo meal, next time missing the egg rolls for the combo meals, now this time ordered (and paid for) teriyaki beef on a stick, got teriyaki chicken instead….used to be the best place around, but has gone down hill recently. I guess it’s time to re evaluate the other options in town.”

“Hole in the wall kinda place. Run down. But...best Chinese Food in the area. Owners, who i believe are a family) are great. They will call you if youre late though so be on time to pick up your order. Only one time did i get a weong item and it was an order of pork fried rice vs more white rice. Obviously not a big deal, but i asked because it was for a kid and they rushed, got my rice, let me keep other rice, redid the bag and sent me on my way. Friendly and fast. If you live in the area, i definitely would recommend going here, in my opinion. There are a few more options in town that are fine too. China Town is just the best one.”

“With comparison to the New Haven style pizzas I think Franks is one of the best in the vicinity. You can tell it’s family owed and operated by the way the answer the phone and their great customers. Thank you for that! They always get my order straight. You’d be surprised just a regular order can be messed up by some of these other pizza joints. Crust is perfect and crisp, but not burnt. Toppings are great with perfect blend of sauce, not overpowering.”

What really makes this location stand out is the staff. The manager and employees have always been friendly, helpful, and on top of things. I’ve never had any issues here, and it’s an easy place to work, grab a bite, and relax.”
