“Amazing Thai restaurant in the area! The service was very friendly and welcoming. We tried the Thai Pao Coconut Chicken, the coconut soup, and the eggplant dish — all were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The presentation of the plates was also beautiful. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere, and the decorations with plants make it feel cozy and inviting. Definitely a place I recommend and will be coming back to!“

“I'm a Field Tech from Western MA. A friend of mine took me to Jimmy's 45 years ago. Torrington is a ways to go, but I take jobs there just so I can go to Jimmy's. In 45 years little has changed, especially the quality of the prepared foods. I was raised on Italian food, and this is as good as it gets. I have a job in Torrington tomorrow. See you for lunch, and get something special for Sunday dinner. And the staff there is a joy as well.“

“First time I’ve been here. Most everything was excellent. Amongst things I had was a hibachi combo with broccoli. The sauce was a little “too much” in terms of thickness/sweetness/quantity, but not bad. I requested the broccoli to be cooked soft and it came out excellent ! (Thanks)

“I happened to meet Tom Kelly while visiting Newport, RI, where he introduced to this bourbon from my home state of Connecticut. His depth of knowledge about the product intrigued me and I told him that back in Atlanta, I host a monthly meet up dubbed the B4 Group (beef, beer, bourbon & boys.) We, in part, we'll sample about 5 new bourbons each time and we'll try any and all newcomers. Tom suggested we bring a bottle of Litchfield back to toss into the mix, which he helped make it happen. Lots of topping options including like 4 or 5 different mustards. There's a picnic table if you want to sit and eat. The owner is friendly and helpful. CASH ONLY!“

Nils was always quick to respond to my many emails. Nils met with me prior to the party starting to make sure everything was as I wanted - it was! The servers Gavin & Kellen were AMAZING! They managed a group of 40 people like pros, and everyone was very happy! The venue was perfect for my husbands 50th birthday, and the prices were very reasonable. I received kind and patient help with the ordering process and what I picked up was a beautiful cake with the perfect decorative touches. She makes the croissants and English muffin bread from scratch, and uses the thickest bacon around on her sandwiches. Everyday there’s something new in the baked goods case, and I never regret getting it (cough cough carrot cake cheese cake coffee cake) 🤤. Love hearts is truly a hidden gem“

“We had the most wonderful experience at Saltwater Grille on Saturday night! After accidentally liking the Facebook page for this restaurant rather than a similarly named one in my town, I’ve spent the last few months looking at the posts and thinking I have to visit this place. The opportunity came to bring someone special there for his birthday and it was just amazing. Having eaten probably thousands of meals in restaurants I can tell you that I met the best server ever - Suzy. She was attentive without being intrusive, personable without being over the top and she has an amazing sense of humor. The food was outstanding as well which rounded out a perfect evening! We’re already planning another visit up when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the patio and live music!!“

“We found West Shore Seafood a couple years ago and have been going back each summer with family and friends for our seafood fix. Absolutely love the location, dog friendly atmosphere, and selection of food & drinks. Our go to order we love is the fish sandwich, salmon BLT, onion strings and Caesar salad. Sometimes there's a wait or a line but completely worth it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality & tasty food in the area.“
