“I went here with a date for the first time for an early dinner. We arrived and the dining room was pretty full however we were seated right away at a high top table in the bar which was pretty cool. We ordered the duck wings to share which were pretty good. We both ordered the filet of mahi mahi pan seared with a voodoo spiced crust served in a spicy white wine sauce with sausage peppers and tomatoes with spinach and cilantro lime rice. We both really enjoyed our entrees. Our server was efficient, helpful and friendly. The kitchen staff delivers the food and were also friendly. The ambiance was casual and cool. I will return again.“

Comfortable interior in black and white, plenty of seating.Had an excellent Cheeseburger, 8oz perfectly seared handmade patty on Brioche Roll dripping with melted cheese. Well-built and tasty. Fries were as good as the burger. Can't get a better one in Stratford till Riley's opens. They're on the same level. Can't wait to try rest of menu.Lunch is $20, appetizer or side, main dish and a drink. Pretty good deal. Ample convenient parking.“
“I love Local because its a great spot for a casual dinner with friends or for drinks on a weeknight. Tuesday night trivia here is the best and you can't go wrong with a marg here. Usually I order a turkey burger, and the pretzel bites are not to be missed! Service is always great here“
“During a five-night stay in the area, I ate here three times. It was delicious. I loved the bang-bang shrimp bowl and the shrimp and clam scampi. So good! I also enjoyed the salmon wrap with sweet potato fries, though it wasn't as great as the other dishes. While the food arrived quickly, the wait staff did seem overwhelmed, especially the bar. It took quit awhile to get a cocktail. If I'm in Southport again, I'll definitely eat here again.“

“Bonda is the greatest hidden restaurant in Fairfield county. The service is unmatched, everyone here is so sweet. The food is all insanely good regardless of what you order. “My fiancé and I love the bar and atmosphere in here, we asked the owner if we could take our engagement photos in the restaurant around the bar area. Not only did they say yes, but they were so accommodating, making sure that we had everything that we needed and also sacrificing some valuable seating room at the bar so that we could finish getting our shots. “The food was very good, portions we definitely above average, staff was very attentive. We had one complaint about the table too close to the bar where my wife got bumped into twice but they actually spoke to the customer's about blocking the area. Overall it was a very good experience, we will go back for sure!“

“Unique place with a pour your own beer and wine program. The food was good. Service good. Decor was modern cold like all the new restaurants. Gone is the full bar, so don't expect to get a cocktail. The place served its purpose for the evening. I don't mind a self service gas pump. But, when I'm in a restaurant I expect full service especially in this day and age when the customer is expected to fork over a twenty percent tip.“
