“We were early for our ferry and looking for a bite. My partner grabbed a grandma slice with fresh mozzarella and a vodka martini in a frosty glass. I got a cold antipasto, which wasn’t on the menu but they were very happy to oblige. Service was swift and friendly and the prices were reasonable. I took my salad to eat on the way to Pt. Jeff. Great place. Everything from the bread to the gelato is made in house.“

“I stopped here on a way to meet a friend and ended up just getting the small because it was almost a big as the large. So I took my pizza and OJ to go to meet up with my young friend. But when I got there there was some random dude there and he kept asking me all kinds of questions. Stuff like "what did you think was going to happen tonight?" and "Do you know what you are doing is illegal?" I was polite and offered him some of my delicious Plant Pizza pizza, pizza so loaded with toppings and cheese that you need to fold it in half to eat it, but he rudely refused. He made me feel like a bad person and I didn't even get to hang out with my sexy young friend. Then the cops showed up and long story short I won't be able to have any more delicious Planet Pizza pizza for a very long time.“

Because the weather was still good, the party took place in the Sky Terrace…the space was very inviting and large enough to accommodate the 33 of us! Ashley and others of the Caloroso team made sure that no one went thirsty or hungry! The buffet of chicken parm, chicken marsala, pasta, salad, and more was totally delicious and plentiful! “I stopped here for dinner after shopping at Bass Pro Shops/Cabelas, it was a good little find. I had some clam chowder and steamed clams, both were very good, they had good beer on tap too. Place had a good blue collar New England fisherman feel to it, great bartender, and its location felt like the kind of place which may be next to the dock the seafood is unloaded at. I’ll be back especially if riding my motorcycle on the CT turnpike as this place also appeared very friendly towards bikers.“
