“Beautiful outdoor place to spend a weekend. Next to vineyard, there’s an Hopkin’s Inn unaffiliated however. We loved that’s there’s a live music. Sampled a variety of spirits. Wonderful atmosphere!!!”
“What a gem! The whole staff was so attentive, our waiter Zak had great recommendations also letting us know that the fresh produce came from the local farmers. Wonderful menu can't wait to revisit! Cheers!”
“My first visit was last February for my birthday. My friend had pre-arranged for the 5 course tasting menu/pairing. It was the perfect introduction to the restaurant and the culinary talents of Chef David. When a close friend had a milestone birthday I knew this would be the perfect locale given his Italian heritage. He’s picky on bread since he makes his own - he couldn’t get enough of it and was excited to find out it was made on site! Recently, when I saw the braised rabbit filled buttons I knew I had to return. Since it was just me and a last minute decision I was thrilled to get a spot at the bar. I can tell you the attention was exactly the same as if I were in the main dining room. First time visitors should splurge on the tasting menu! Grazie mille Chef David and the entire friendly team.”
“One of the better dining experiences that can be had in Connecticut. Michelin star quality without the price. The staff is extremely personable and makes you feel as if you are the only person in the restaurant. They are very knowledgeable about the menu. The presentation and taste of the food is exceptional. The food is farm to table with fresh ingredients. The dining room is dimly lit and intimate. The experience has been consistent the 5 times that I have visited.”
“We did the chef’s tasting menu and I also got the wine pairings. Every single wine pairing was an absolutely phenomenal complement to each dish (except for the last one, which was “merely” a good match for the dish). The Smoked Gold cocktail was definitely a highlight too. We are looking forward to returning when more produce is in season since they source it locally.”
“The fresh baked breads here are fantastic. I always walk out of there with more goods than i intended to get. Don’t forget a cookie or scone for the ride home!”
“Wild how the universe brings people together and where the days as well as moments go. T'was my birthday yesterday and I was just rolling with the day. Started off working out then went for a hike in Morris. After that bumped into a buddy and started to geek out on some home roasted and brewed java. Then trying to keep the cup filled we ventured to the Krafted Brew Lab and I was enriched with flavors conversations and beautiful people. I am somewhat of a recluse but am spreading my wings glad to have landed there yesterday. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to get back up there. Much respect to y'all!!!”
“Great service! Excellent sushi! Good company at the sushi bar. Owner is personable and knowledgeable. We had a great time and enjoyed delicious food! Will be making a trip in the future!”
“My favorite place to grab breakfast, lunch, and sometimes even dinner! The prices are so reasonable for today's day and age, it is truly unbeatable for the quality and portion size. Great lunch specials with half sandwich and soup! Their wraps are all delicious and I crave their chocolate chip pancakes weekly. If you live close, definitely give this diner a try.”
“OMG! I am so grateful for the vegan options! My amazing coworker has brought Mexican hot chocolate pie bars and mocha silk bars in and they are too die for! Highlyyyy recommend!”
“One of my most favorite places- the meats, pate’s and sandwiches are just so mouth watering incredible. Been frequenting this establishment for a very long time; I’ve ordered gifts and have gotten our holiday hams from ”
“Exceptional quality baked goods. This has become a weekly staple in our home. We look forward to seeing the daily specials and enjoy bonding over the deliciousness! Thank you Blue Gate!!”
“What a WONDERFUL little throw-back of a diner! The servers are absolutely charming (thank you to the beautiful, jewelry-making Christina), pricing is circa 1995, there's a great children's menu -- and there is clearly some skill in this kitchen, generally. I love that you get unlimited refills on coffee ($2), which was actually quite decent by diner standards. Where else can you find that nowadays?! Eggs were well prepared and fluffy across the board. I loved that my veggie omelet ($8.75) came generously filled with sauteed mushrooms, sweet peppers, and onions. It came with toast and a side of either fruit or home fries. The multigrain, which our server disclosed was from a bakery in NY, was fresh, well slathered with butter, and far better than it had to be as a non-headline component of the meal. Home fries were beautifully seasoned, though I do prefer mine a little more browned. Fruit salad on our visit included a slice of melon, a few grapes and a slice of orange. Our eight year old got a children's meal with one egg, home fries, toast and juice ($4.50). She enjoyed her fluffy scrambled eggs, which she ate sandwiched between two halves of a generously buttered English muffin. My only nitpick: You could taste a touch of margarine in the eggs, which I personally detest. Still, the food was head and shoulders better than (and half as expensive as) anything you can find at Mohawk Mountain, where we are usually resigned to grub. We are so, so thrilled to find this sweet little place a hop and a skip away from the mountain. It's a perfect place to refuel after early morning ski practice!”
“This is one of those places, as an out of towner, you ask yourself if it’s a good idea to go, as you’re walking up to it. Only to find out it’s filled with great people and great conversation. This is usually the case, but it’s a testament to our country for sure. If a cold beer, darts, keno(QuickDraw), and a speedy bar tender sounds like a good time, then you’ve come to the right place. I’m not sure if they have food, so I left that blank.”
“Went here with a group of friends and had a great time. The food was very at a very reasonable price! Steak was cooked to perfection! I will be going back again and again!”
“I ordered 3 dozen cookies with a “Lisa Frank” theme. I sent them the inspiration photos, and filled out the form online, I received a response very quickly. Ashley is extremely professional, kind, talented, and efficient. On top of the cookies being absolutely perfect and even better than I expected, they tasted amazing.”
“Thanks to the cook and bartender! I just picked up a burger combo to go and it was delicious! I was early so I waited at the bar, the atmosphere was nice and clean. You are crazy if you don't stop in for food or a drink.”
“Just had an amazing time at Goshen Pizza! ? The chicken ranch pizza was a flavor bomb, and the pesto pizza was the best I've ever had. Super friendly staff too! ? Highly recommend for pizza lovers!”
“Cystle was a dream! I am so glad I stumbled across her Facebook page and reached out to her! She was so lovely to work with and made my wedding cake and cupcakes exactly as I pictured them! Meeting Crystle and trying the flavors of cupcakes I knew she was an expert and I had to have her for my wedding! I asked for a naked look carrot cake for my wedding cake and she did exactly that, she also then made 8 different flavors of cupcakes. They were a hit and my husband and I only had a handful of cupcakes left to take home by the end of the night. Not only did they all look amazing but they tasted exactly as described! If anyone needs a cake/cupcakes I 10/10 recommend going to Sugar Crystles!”
“I forgot to mention on my last review that we always get a vegan pizza to go with our dinners. It is really great crispy pizza with vegetables on top but no cheese. I'm sure all the other pizzas are equally delicious. Lasts for days in the fridge and can be reheated in oven- not microwave because that makes the crust mushy! Really good place!”
“We ordered 2 pies for thanksgiving and they are both BEYOND delicious! We got a Dutch apple pie and a mixed berry pie, both dairy free. Will definitely be ordering again!!”
“Kingsley hits all the right buttons. You can sit and eat at the bar if you are feeling social or get a cozy table for two by the window. The chef often comes out to chat to locals and visitors alike and she has no problem taking opinions or praise. The bartender will recommend a cocktail if you ask he is attentive without lurking! All of this plus wonderful food, most of which is sourced locally. There are some permanent items. I love the big bowl of mussels with crusty bread for dipping; last visit they were in a saffron based broth. I highly recommend !”
“I was so enamoured with how cute this deli is! It's in a somewhat non-descript strip mall off the Green (and perhaps the only tenant), but inside is adorable and small-town! The shop offers sandwiches to order, and every non-alcoholic drink you may want - Coke, Pepsi, hot chocolate, and of course coffee. The coffee is Omar Coffee, if brand matters to you. The BEC sandwich on a croissant is eggy with a wonderful buttery flavor. The cheese and bacon quantities are reasonable (what can I say, I care about the cheese!). They also have baked goods - cookies, brownies, yum! The decor is all local - posters from old Bethlehem fairs, paintings from local artists, and a classic wall of business cards! If you need a local service, I bet you'll find it there. There is also a restroom available.”
“This restaurant was so amazing! The set up and atmosphere was very nice and laid back. The server was very friendly, provided excellent service and the food was very delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great barbecue.”
“We were blown away by the exceptional service. The level of professionalism was refreshing. The staff could have been trained at Downton Abby! We have found the gold standard to which all servers should be compared. The food was simply amazing. My Mole Pork Chop was tender and juicy with an unexpected, and greatly appreciated, subtle crisp on the outside. We will be back, w/ friends!!”
“Great little cafe. Portions are normal. A bit pricey but the quality of the food is great so far. We have stopped a few times for both breakfast & lunch. Top notch soups as well. Five stars all ”
“Love this place. Absolutely. The pizza is to die for with its baked buttery crust and delicious toppings. Every time we are in the area this is a definite. Only drawback is the place could use some updating. But that is minor. Come here!”
“Jam Food Shop catered a lunch reception after a memorial service for a relative and they did an excellent job with sandwiches, salads, and sesame noodle dish. All very tasty and easy to order on just a few days notice. Thanks”
“Great spot with delish grab-and-go fare. Super friendly staff. I only had the chance to eat breakfast based on timing but would love to try the other stuff sometime - grain bowls, salads etc.Dietary restrictions: Friend had a gluten allergy and they happily accommodated!Kid-friendliness: Wide open, easy atmosphere. No fuss staff.”
“Was out for a Sunday drive found this gem the owner and the associate behind the counter where so friendly we had a great latte and I was thrilled to find that they make GF goodies.”
