“Celebrated our daughter’s birthday on Friday and everything was AMAZING! Our server, Jaden, was fabulous and our food was incredible!! Definitely a great experience!“

“Food was great. We started with oysters, parkerhouse rolls and zucchini app. The zucchini was the stand out! Second time I've had the bass and it didn't disappoint...so tasty. My husband had the steak frites and it was cooked to perfection. Also a generous portion. Our friend had the salmon and said it was very good and my son had the burger. Said it was good but nothing special.“

“Came in around 6p on a Sunday so it wasn’t busy. The inside is what you’d expect for similar restaurants; darker ambiance , booths and tables, and outdoor seating as well. We were sat and addressed quickly, placing an order for drinks and an app. We then chose two entrees to share. For an old fashioned, a glass of Prosecco, an egg roll appetizer, a Cobb salad, and a steak sandwich with fries came to about $90 (with tip).

Our waitress was attentive without being invasive; she was quick and friendly .

My only complaint is the sticky table.

“We love max burger. We've been going here for years but on this trip, we took our 9 month old. We brought peaches for him since he's not eating off the menu yet. And he proceeded to make a huge mess. Our waitress, Molly, was so sweet and said it was totally fine. They're a family restaurant. All of the staff were super sweet to our baby, and it was a really great experience.“

Parking: The parking lot is a very awkward slanted lot with a mix of perpendicular and straight spaces.

Kid-friendliness: Kid's menu!

Wheelchair accessibility: Be careful in the parking lot as it is awkwardly slanted and hilly. Otherwise, you can use the sidewalk right up to the door. Unfortunately, the door *is not* automatic.“

“The Elbow Room is an awesome venue, the food and drinks they have are great and reasonably priced, I'm a big fan of their wings and tacos. I go to the open mic comedy nights on Thursdays, and I throw fun comedy shows/parties in the basement around once a month on Fridays with about 50 people, and everyone always hangs out on the rooftop after now that the weather is warmer. The Elbow Room is a staple of West Hartford and almost everyone knows about it.“

“We had Andrene for our waitress. She was amazing! You can tell she enjoys her job and was very polite and kind. The food came very quickly and was delicious. She checked in several times to see how we were doing and making sure we were set with drinks. I would highly recommend this place as well as Andrene as a waitress“
