“I really enjoyed my visit to Union Kitchen. The place was empty when I went so service overall was prompt and efficient. Kyle, my server, was exceptional and provided top notch service throughout my visit. I started with spicy chicken wings with the trufallo sauce. think these wings were smoked. I like my wings grilled. They were good just not excellent. The house burger was very good but it wasn't big enough to justify price. The brioche bun was sweet and soft. The caramelized onions were delicious. The shoestring fries were great. How do you go wrong with shoestring fries? I had a drink from the bar but I forgot what it was. A lot of crushed ice and not a lot of alcohol. I was disappointed in this. Overall it was a fine early afternoon dining experience before my show“

“Good food,super quick and nice service
In a very lively area.
We got the :
-Cowboy burger itg side of fries - good burger,the bacon was super crispy
-Ahi tuna burger with a side of calslaw- surprisingly juicy and the seasoning was delicious.And the slaw was very tasty
-Buffalo shrimp - just YUM
-Egg plant fries - not my favorite,was a bit too oily,the bayter is too heavy for the eggplant
Washed it ll down with a vanilla milkshake

“Delicious chicken wings. You must try the smoked chicken wings with the kitchen sink sauce. WoW!!!
I'm from Buffalo, NY and am very particular to my wings. I haven't found any other place in Connecticut yet that I would mention anything about the wings. A must try. When you try, please let me know!!! 😂“

“We were told of Blue Plate Kitchen by a friend. My son attends Univ of Hartford and every time I fly east to visit - at least 1 breakfast is here. Food is great and the people are attentive and nice.“

“I’ve only sat down to eat here once, but I’ve stopped by for their ice cream around 50 times—and that’s not an exaggeration. Every single time, it’s been consistently good. The food when I dined in was enjoyable, but the ice cream is what keeps me coming back again and again.
They always have fresh, tasty flavors, and the quality never disappoints. Whether it’s a hot summer day or I’m just in the mood for a treat, I know I can count on them for something delicious. The staff are friendly, the service is quick, and the overall experience is always pleasant.
It’s rare to find a place that stays this consistent over so many visits, but they’ve managed to do it. I’ll definitely keep coming back for more.“

“Celebrated our daughter’s birthday on Friday and everything was AMAZING! Our server, Jaden, was fabulous and our food was incredible!! Definitely a great experience!“
