“Our family recently visited Hungry Pot Korean BBQ to celebrate my son’s birthday, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. For many of us, this was our first time dining at a Korean BBQ restaurant, and our server, Tian, went above and beyond to make it memorable. He warmly interacted with everyone at the table, guided us through the ordering process, and even prepared several dishes right at our table, allowing us to try a wide variety of options. The food was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful, leaving everyone fully satisfied. The environment was clean and inviting, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the overall dining experience exceeded our expectations. We left with great memories, and I would highly recommend Hungry Pot Korean BBQ to anyone seeking delicious food and excellent service in a welcoming atmosphere. “First off, super clean, organized truck. Friendly service taking the order, good vibe.
AMAZING brisket sandwich, possibly the best I've ever had. Toasted bun, dripping fat, light BBQ sauce, and solid smoke flavor.
The pulled pork also high quality and a house sauce that complimented the pork.
Can't wait to go to the restaurant proper!“

“First I want to say that I live in RI, so I have a decent drive to Hartford, but Black Eyed Sally's is no joke, the food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is peaceful and amazing.
I haven't been there for their live entertainment yet, but I'm going soon for sure.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys some good barbecue, some good Ole soulfood, and some of the best appetizers I've ever eaten, and let's not forget the mouth watering cornbread.
I fell in love with their fried green tomatoes, and you will too.
This is a restaurant worthy of 5 stars in any food category.

“Bear’s Smokehouse Express in South Windsor earned my loyalty right away. When I mentioned I don’t eat pork, the team went above and beyond—clean cutting board, fresh knife, no hesitation. That level of attentiveness is a game-changer. Now, let’s talk deliverables: the beef brisket was top-tier—tender, flavorful, fully aligned with expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this location. I’ll be back on-site, no doubt, and it’s a prime option to keep on the radar.“

“I dine at this location about every 6-8 weeks and have never had a bad meal. Meat and vegetables are always cooked perfectly. Every waiter/waitress we had has also been great. I have mentioned this to the waitstaff and manager in the past as well to recognize exceptional food and service. A few weeks back my husband found that they have a shrimp and lobster chowder that is now a must have every time. Last mention, is their margarita is also perfect every time as well. I hope your visits are as pleasurable has ours have been. :)“

“I rarely visit bars but I do like trying new places before passing judgement. When I walked in to the restaurant, I thought it was more open and contemporary than I expected, which was good. We were there for a Linner on a Monday so it was not busy. It was not very well lit. Which is always a problem for us because my partner is legally blind. There were 4 regulars at the bar who turned around stared at us, then cracked a joke which got them laughing at our expense. We decided to eat out on the patio as it was a nice day. The patio was clean. The tables had umbrellas which provided needed shade. We were served right away, with a smile. Our server Bonnie was really nice and brought out drinks and refills as needed. She automatically brought the extra napkins and the utensils at the beginning. The order was as requested mostly, but I'd say my burger was undercooked. I asked for medium but it was very medium rare and in the thickest part rare rare rare. Because I'll eat hamburgers just about anyway, and I will never ever send food back. (There is a story there, a word to the wise, don't send food back in any restaurant, evet) I didn't say a word about it. So you might want to go medium well if you like medium. Apart from that, it was a very pleasant experience.“

“I went last night around 9:30pm thinking they were going to tell me they were out of many items but not only did they have EVERYTHING, they also moved quick! I complimented the one girl working the register because she was doing the damn thing! even recalled my order perfectly despite servicing many people at once. Great service, food came out quick & was delicious. That girl who works behind the counter Sunday evening needs a raise!“

“i went here with my grandmother and my father and stepmother. i got a full rack of ribs and the mac and cheese, beware the full rack of ribs is full indeed. it is a very big portion as u will see in the photo, i finished the ribs and half the mac n cheese, it was amazing! highly recommend!“

“We visited Taste of 509 Haitian Restaurant in June 2026. We wanted some Haitian food before the 2026 World Cup Haiti v Brazil.
The restaurants very clean and designed with bright colors. We ordered a fried red snapper with black rice, white rice, and chicken patty. Everything was very fresh and the fish was fried after ordering. The customer service was welcoming. The only thing I wish they had were desserts. We will definitely be back when we come to the area!“
