“Our flight home was delayed and we didn’t get in until later than expected and we were starving after a long travel day. We stopped in 20 minutes before closing and they were kind enough to make us a most delicious pizza! We had also stopped in before we left on our trip and had wonderful sandwiches. The staff is super friendly, the restaurant is very clean and family friendly. We would highly recommend stopping in anytime!“

“Been going here for over a decade, and Harvest remains the best breakfast/brunch/bakery in the area. They have fresh baked items in the bakery case daily that are priced reasonably, and their scones are THE BEST with great flavor and spot-on texture. Dining in, I always enjoy the Farmer's Benedict with a side of fresh baked sourdough toast. I prefer my eggs poached hard, and they gladly accommodate this request. On top of the most amazing food, the friendly staff, great service, and a cozy atmosphere makes every experience dining in a pleasure!“

“We are from Rhode Island and were in the area to visit Six Flags. Found Marks Restaurant using Google maps for breakfast near me. The food was excellent. The homemade bread was even better. Probably not a common comment, but my view of the kitchen from the register it’s a very clean and neat setup. I’ve worked in foodservice delivery and have always viewed restaurants from back of house which influenced my decision to eat there. I recommend Marks and will be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Great place to visit. I ate lunch here last week. The food was excellent. I started with the Cha Gio rolls as an appetizer and had the Mi Xao noodle dish with beef and veggies. Really delicious. I thought the service was also great. The waitress recommended the dish I tried and she was 100% right. It seems like a family owned restaurant, everyone was very friendly there and checked on me throughout the meal. I really enjoyed the food and plan to go back this week. Highly recommend!“

“Initially visited about 10 years ago. Hadn’t been back for. O particular reason. Recently decided to go back and we’ve been going there every couple of weeks since. Prices are very good and the food is excellent. Jason does a great job. Highly recommend.“

“I had a situation where I got home and part of my order was missing. No big deal, humans make mistakes. I called in and spoke to Krystal and she said to come in and she would take care of it. I didn't have my receipt when I retuned today. But another manager, Nicole, was amazing. She didnt give me a hard time about it and was actually very pleasant. Right away you can tell they care about their customers. They have seen me a bunch in the store and they made me feel like they never wanted that to stop. In a time when so many are in customer service and actually loathe it, it is so refreshing to find the few that treat their customers the way I would. I love this place and I’ll certainly be back. “A group of us came for lunch today. We were greeted by friendly staff . Food was fresh and the presentation a work of art ( sushi for 2 platter) Everything was delicious. Loved the honey ginger tea, perfect for a snowy day. Thank you so much! We will be back!“

“Hands down the best Indian buffet that I've ever had in the US. Thursday is their Dosa night where they have a live Dosa station along with South Indian staples served in buffet style. On the weekends they have buffet lunch ranging from Goat Dum biriyani to Haryali green chili chicken to their famous Tawa fish (amazing appetizer). If you're around Hartford or a student at UConn do yourself a favor and visit this place for their buffets. The restaurant is clean, they serve alcohol , service is excellent and the food is honestly to die for! I cannot recommend this place enough 👌🏼💯“

“Had a great evening at the Rail Trail Ale House! I really wanted to sit outside, but unfortunately there was a chance of rain so they said no.

They have a good selection of beers. We both had burgers and they were juicy and delicious. Their fries really stole the show though, so fresh and perfectly fried.

The service was mediocre and the restaurant was a cluttered feeling (cleaning supplies and menus about).“

“Our second time trying Verona and both times we were very happy with our food. Our first visit we got pizza to go and it was the best margarita pizza we’ve ever had. Tonight we dined in and had the most amazing meals. They were super busy today and were out of some items so we had to change our order but I am so glad we did. The penne ala vodka was the best I’ve ever had and my husband loved the lasagna. The server, Harmony, was so kind and attentive. Portion sizes were very generous and now I have lunch for tomorrow as well. We will definitely be back!“

“Our family of three came in on Thursday night, June 4th from Boston. We never had F&P pizza and our wonderful waitress assisted us with order g the 5 pizza special so we can try a lot of flavors. She really made our 2 hour drive worthwhile as we continue our vacation south. The pizzas were fantastic and my daughter was t sure if she wanted the crust on one of the pizza charred to the original standards, so she brought it out mid-cook for a visual check. Now that’s what I call customer service. Thanks for making it special for us. Remember, the food is good, but it’s the customer service makes it an experience!“

“Went here for lunch with my sister! I couldn’t believe how packed they were on a Monday! No wonder- the food and drink were ON POINT! Our waiter was very attentive and informative on wine. We shared the spinach and artichoke dip- delicious! I had the harvest vegetable bowl and added steak. The flavors mixed so well creating a palette of fresh, and my steak was cooked perfectly! My sister got the burger and a Cesar salad. The dressing was really fresh and lemony! The burger was delish as well! I will definitely be back! All the food I watched going by looked like 10 stars!“

“I remember this spot more from when Broad Brook Brewery used to be here, however, upon hearing the news of new management taking over in 2025, I felt inclined to give this place a try. I don't live in town anymore, but I was pleasantly surprised by their selection of beer, wine, and hard cider/seltzer, and they have a nice to-go fridge if you don't want to sit at the bar - but what really set this place apart was how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is! They're really eager to grow their business, and in a time where it feels like everything is shrinking away, I appreciate a comfortable place to hang out with a friend or grab a drink for later. I try to stop in every so often when I'm visiting family, it's a nice place!“
