“I wanted some hot soup and something spicy to flush out this cold I have, and was on my way home from school in Springfield to Enfield. I came across this restaurant on Google and had never been, so wanted to give it a try. I got the lunch special, with coconut soup, 2 spring rolls and the massaman curry. I asked if it was possible to get no mushrooms in the soup, and they happily accommodated! I also asked if my curry could be extra spicy, and was also told yes. I wish I took photos, but it smelled too good to wait because everything was absolutely delicious (with no mushrooms and the curry delightfully spicy!) and I even have a little left over for tonight 😊. Lunch special was a great deal for $13.90 and I will definitely be back!“

“On Saturday, August 16, 2025, my husband and I had the pleasure of eating a late lunch/early dinner at this wonderful restaurant. The service was pleasant and prompt, the decor was beautiful, and the food was delicious! Before our entrees, we split the potato skins appetizer. I really liked the crispy skin. (I don't usually eat all of the skin of potato skins, preferring the filling instead, but I ate all of mine from Zanto's!) The Shrimp Scampi Provençal was one of the best versions of shrimp scampi that I've ever had. My husband raved about his dish of Scallops Massimo. I don't know if we'll ever be in that area of CT again, but if we are, we'll go out of our way to eat at Zanto's. 5/5“

Probably not a common comment, but my view of the kitchen from the register it’s a very clean and neat setup. “I was so worried when I saw that this place only had 8 reviews, but if you are reading this and worried too JUST GO 💕 the owner is incredibly kind, the vibe is very chill with lots of space, and the food? Oh my god, there’s a breakfast sandwich with a runny egg, fried chicken, and honey butter that I’ve been craving ever since I had it!!!! The chicken was hot and freshly fried, burned my mouth but it was worth it, and the honey butter was generously spread on the brioche bun. My husband is vegan and he loooved his sandwich, especially the size. It was double the size of normal vegan sandwiches easily, and the home style potatoes were clearly cut up by hand. Also, the price was SO reasonable for the sizes and the freshness.

I wish there had been more people in there enjoying it with us because it was dead empty when we walked in, but it was well worth it and I wish the owner all the luck in the world.“

“We stopped at Rail Trail Ale House for lunch on a beautiful fall Saturday and had a great time. We shared the giant pretzel, then split the pastrami sandwich, and both were excellent. I had the Queen Bee and my husband had the Shipyard Oktoberfest, both perfect for the day.

What made the visit was the people. The owner stopped by to chat and couldn't have been lovelier, and the staff was fantastic from start to finish. A rep from Counterweight Brewing was there giving out samples of their German-style beer, which was wonderful, a fun surprise.

The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, the kind of spot where you want to linger. It's right down the road from Congamond Lake, so it's easy to make a whole afternoon of it. We'll definitely be back!“

They offer a fantastic selection of vegetarian and vegan options which can sometimes be hard to find. Additionally, the atmosphere is both fun and relaxing with consistently friendly and welcoming staff. If you like to read or are looking for a new cookbook, Nosh has quite the selection of books available for purchase.

“Been going here for over a decade, and Harvest remains the best breakfast/brunch/bakery in the area. They have fresh baked items in the bakery case daily that are priced reasonably, and their scones are THE BEST with great flavor and spot-on texture. Dining in, I always enjoy the Farmer's Benedict with a side of fresh baked sourdough toast. I prefer my eggs poached hard, and they gladly accommodate this request. On top of the most amazing food, the friendly staff, great service, and a cozy atmosphere makes every experience dining in a pleasure!“
