“I frequent Bart's almost once a week - The food is so much better than the original frozen Hamburgers or oil-soaked fries of the 70's-80's, and 90's I find some of the reviews on this site are harsh. I have never had a bad experience with the food or the owner or staff. I understand this is a "Made to order" quality menu selection, not like the old Bart's that had precooked hotdogs and burgers sitting waiting to be warmed up. This is not fast food it is good food which I am willing to pay a little more for. I recommend the JR Cheese Smash Burger with everything and the Hotdogs and fries.“

“First of all- the place is very clean and tidy with clean restrooms. Vanilla milkshake was delicious and had a vanilla bean flavor which was 10/10! Jungle burger did not disappoint- very flavorful and the toppings were just right so that the burger did not fall apart or become a mess- 10/10!!! Crispy fries vs Fries- tried both and preferred the crispy “puffy” fries- but both were delicious and generous portion. The staff was friendly and welcoming.“

“Can’t put this all into words, but one of the best pizza experiences of my life. Went with a friend who’s a former local, and let the dice roll on a chef’s choice on two pies. First, a meatball with vodka sauce and ricotta balls. Not on the menu, but it should be. It was amazing. The meatballs were melt in your mouth and the vodka sauce was simply special. Then, a grandma’s shepherds pie. Fermented dough gives it just a hint of sour, the sweet of the corn and the starchy salty mashed potatoes, man oh man it was delicious. To top it off the guys sent us two cannolis for dessert.

When this place gets its license to sell beer it will be unstoppable, and should become a staple of whatever that neighborhood was called, but I’m calling it Little Rio because of all of the Brazilian shops.

Pepe’s of New Haven, you better watch your back. These boys can go toe to toe with anyone.

“This was a great unexpected experience. My friend I wanted sliders so we stopped in for that, not realizing it was 8:50 and they close at 9pm. The hostess was so sweet and still let us dine in which was greatly appreciated. Shout out to our server Aidan he was awesome!!! He didn't make sus feel rushed ! I ordered a porn star martini which was great!!! Instead of sliders we ordered a double smashed burger to share, one thing I loved as an option is we could do half regular fries and half sweet potato fries. You know I love some good accommodations!!!! he burger was very good, I like trying smashed burgers at different places. Max you got it right!!!! “Cannot say enough good things about The Hollow. Whether you are a golfer or not the restaurant should be added to your regular rotation. The food is top notch, everything on the menu is fantastic. “First timer here. The atmosphere was awesome. Sat at the bar and watched motoGP. I ordered the brisket egg rolls and they FAR exceeded my expectations. Crispy crunch, sweet, salty, umami. It hit every taste bud on my tongue. My husband got the brisket grilled cheese and it was out of this world good. Perfectly balanced. Not too much bbq sauce, right amount of cheese and a nice crisp bread. The tater tots were perfectly fried and salted. They were so good we didn't even need ketchup. We will for sure be back.“

Creative appetizers, delicious mac and cheese and my boyfriend and I even tried the steak dinner special one night and it was delicious.
I love the country Western Barn type atmosphere. Great for family dinners, large party dinners, date night or just meeting friends out for drinks, and check out live bands Fri and Sat night! Huge space!
They were playing great country music the night we were there and even had the music videos going on the TVs.

“showed up around 11:30am and order a breakfast sandwich. they made it in a fairly short time and it was quite tasty. The service was okay, prices were kinda high, but prices everywhere is high other than that I have no complaints. I recommend visiting if in the neighborhood.

Parking: in front and side of business, roughly 12 to 15 parking spots.

Wheelchair accessibility: I believe you can get into the front door fairly unchallenged.“
