Cafe Cozy Corner

I love to support mom and pop establishments, especially when they are located in my neighborhood. The food at Cozy Corner is always fresh and made well. I love a good sandwich and they make good sandwiches. My only issue is the service from the person who seems to be the owner. He seems to favor certain patrons over others and it is pretty obvious. Convenient location which is very close to our hotel and Mt Vernon Square Metro station. Very nice food with great and fast service. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Restaurant is not big but definitely meets your needs for a regular breakfast. I love my order that is sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and it is delicious! Definitely recommend this place if you stay close to Mt Vernon Square Metro station.

First time I came here, the steak and egg sandwich was amazing, second time I couldn't even eat it because it was so bland. I also have tried the lox bagel which is pretty good. Salmon tastes fresh. I always get the caramel latte and it's delicious. It's a good neighborhood staple that I frequent for coffee, but will probably not be trying anymore of the food.
