As a keen Panera Bread customer across the States, I’ve visited many locations, but this one at Dipont Circle truly stands out. From the moment you walk in, the staff greet you with warm, friendly smiles and provide remarkably efficient service, making the experience feel effortless. The store itself is impeccably clean, with a welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect whether you’re popping in for a quick bite or planning to sit and relax.
The outdoor seating is a real highlight—beautiful tables bathed in sunlight, ideal for enjoying a meal while taking in the surroundings. The food is consistently cooked to perfection and presented with care, showing attention to detail in every dish. It’s clear that the team takes pride in their work, from the friendly service to the inviting environment and the quality of the food.

“Super kind and quick service. This is a smaller Panera, more aimed at a grab-and-go audience, so there’s not much seating but the pastries and all other pickup areas are a bit enhanced and more convenient than other Paneras. We went at a super quiet time, but I imagine it can be quite busy and a tight fit. The biggest trick is finding it. It’s down the hall from the food court on the lower level of this large building with many entrances.“
“This Panera has been a lifesaver with return to office. There aren’t many places on my commute route that are open and able to prepare lunch items at 7am. If I haven’t had time to pack lunch I’ll place an order as I’m leaving the house and it’s ready to grab by the time I get there. I just wish they had more/better vegetarian options.“
“This is a very nice Panera bread my second favorite Panera in city second only to the Tenleytown one . Right near the Metro center 13 the st D exit. Friendly service and excellent customer service but sometimes the homeless takeover the restrooms and I waited an hour for a bathroom and finally walked down to McDonald's. They should have some way of enforcing time limits on resources like bathrooms no more than 10 mins. other than that it is a excellent Panera.“
“Panera Bread never disappoints! The mac and cheese is creamy and comforting, paired perfectly with their half sandwich option for a well-balanced meal. I love the variety of sandwich choices, but the classic grilled cheese with tomato soup is always a favorite. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxing break. Plus, the staff is always friendly and efficient. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a more leisurely meal, Panera is always a great choice!“
“I used to eat here a lot late at night, if I wouldn't get sleep or felt no sleep early in the morning while homeless. I was homeless at the time, thank God I have a lovely home in Uganda-my home country. No one at all gave me a hard time while eating here(odd orders), my meals were always in order and very accurate. I have almost zero complaits except that the hospital always failed to keep the bathrooms well stocked with essentials like toilet seat paper covers and paper towels. However I do not put the blame on the restaurant but rather goes to the hospital that I think maintains the bathrooms. Be aware that they do not serve sodas but have all the charged juices from what I remember which a great thing avoiding unhealthy soft sodas. I used eat here in the month of August this year of 2022 while I was in Washington DC area while relocating to Uganda after attaining wisdom from US. Thank you staff working at this location, for taking care of us-you are all amazing and I love u guys because u always gave me what I always wanted/needed which I rarely got from other restaurants or Panera locations.All in all, please eat here whenever u can always, they server pretty hot meals, fresh and very accurate.“
“The new manager Maria and her staff arr amazing. So warm and friendly. I have been a Panera member for years and I had to come back with my husband just so he could experience it for himself and they did not disappoint. They seem to be doing everything right keep up the great work.“
“The manager was very generous to me and my family. We ordered vegetables soup on 4/7/22. However, when I arrived at our hotel with the food, it was onion soup. I didn't like. This morning (4/17) I went back to Panera and made my complaints. The manager gave us vegetables soup. Not only that, He went above and beyond. When I ordered breakfast wrap, pizza and drinks. He said it was on him. And gave us 3 chocolate cookies. Thank you, I think his name is Phillip for your generosity and kindness.“
“The guy at the cashier was so nice and helpful, I was there last night around 8PM and I made my order and walked outside to wait, the guy came out giving me my order right outside, even thou this location don’t have curbside pickups or anything.
