One of my favorite spots in D.C.! One of the first things I noticed was the employees. I don’t know how the company does it, but every single worker is the most friendly, courteous individual you will find at establishments like these. An increasingly rare thing these days. What a nice little neighborhood spot. Great coffee, a fantastic chai, and some to-die-for focaccia sandwiches. Service is always prompt, even with a line. If you're looking for a place to sit and work at a quaint coffee shop, Pitango is a great option. Most recently, I tried their Milano and Mortadella sandwiches.
