I’m a local and for whatever reason hadn’t visited Queen Vic before yesterday, but a friend and I decided to drop in for a couple beers and a snack. Little did we know the level of hospitality we would receive. Matt is so kind and immediately treated us like family. The bar was busy but we felt taken care of and happy the entire time. Also doesn’t hurt that the food and drinks are amazing (do yourself a favor and order the donuts - you won’t regret it)! Going to be one of my new favorite spots 😊“

“Great bar with great vibes and even better employees. I truly cannot convey how grateful I am for the amazing employees at this bar! After fainting at the bottom of the stairs Friday night, the employees all immediately sprang into action, making sure that I was ok and asking questions while they called for paramedics. They even knew that I hadn’t been drinking, properly conveying that I was having a true medical issue. The first thing I remember is one of them telling me that I wasn’t alone and everything was going to be ok. Fainting episodes are always very disorienting and even painful for me, but everyone made me feel completely safe and comforted. They ensured no onlookers made me uncomfortable or laughed, really minimizing my immense embarrassment about the whole experience. They were so respectful, and one man in particular truly took care of me the entire time. Honestly, I’m sure they did even more than I was aware of, and I am so grateful for their assistance. This is an absolutely amazing bar that simply put my safety above all else. I have never been treated with such genuine care, thoughtfulness, and kindness during a fainting episode. My only regret is not getting any of their names to properly thank them for their help, so I really hope they see this! Your help meant the world to me, and I cannot wait to tell all of my friends to come to The Commodore!“

“We went there 3 evenings in a row. Bar at the top, waiter on Wednesday at the top, waitress on Thursday at the top. On the other hand, the waitress on Friday evening, a STÉPHANIE H, no smile and not pleasant. Too bad for the bar. We will not return for 4 evenings.“

My whine is about the wine, which in all categories is mediocre, expensive for what it is, and almost never changes, no matter how many nice requests we've made to the staff. PLEASE up your wine game!“
