Dinner was amazing. We started with a dozen fresh oysters and had the steak frites prefix. It was delicious and a great value.

Me and my wife had a beautiful date night here, the staff was very attentive to our needs, and this is coming from two former servers. The food was delicious and plentiful. If you’re looking for an intimate setting, this is a great spot. I even seen a few friends of mine having a great time at the bar

Based on the reviews, Steak Frites DC offers an outstanding value proposition with a prix fixe menu that includes a whole french baguette, a salade, fries, and a big steak for 40$. The food is excellent: the steak is well cooked, well seasoned, tender, and flavorful, often topped with an incredible butter sauce. The fries are perfectly crispy, and the salad has the perfect amount of dressing. The chocolate mousse dessert is also excellent. The service is spectacular, friendly, and attentive, making it a perfect place for a special occasion like an anniversary. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. It is a cute little spot on H worth the visit. A reservation is recommended.
