“My wife and I were in the mood for a wonderful Valentines Day lunch and was very pleased with this Ramen restaurant. The selection on the menu will have you wanting to return and try something else. We both ordered the grilled pork ramen with a cold Passion Fruit Green Tea. They both were outstanding and delicious and will definitely make a return .“
“This is my go to place for take out sushi. Great food. Great service. Reasonable prices. I highly recommend. My go to items are the rainbow roll, red lover roll, salmon avocado roll and crunchy salmon roll. Their calamari and crab Rangoon are also good.“
“I love this place! I thought It was another coffee shop, but no, it is a juice bar and Japanese restaurant. Their food is wonderful. And they have a great selection of different kinds of teas, fruit drinks, and bubble juices. The staff is always friendly. There are a few seats in there, I think most people do take out. They are really quick with their orders, and their prices are great. I highly recommend them. Today I got vegetable croquet and a pineapple smoothie. Delicious!!!!“
“Recently I have visited Sakura several times. I feel obliged to review that service, friendliness, quality/taste and for the prices I have been impressed and I have ordered take out, yet the atmosphere inside is very nice. I have enjoyed getting the miso soup and small lettuce salad with the tasty dressing with each order. I recommend Sakura and will be returning! I don't usually like fried foods out because sometimes too greasy, yet the tempura and coconut shrimp recently were pretty good, I think the fry was almost perfect. And I always like their sushi.“
“The food here was really good, that is about the best part of the experience. Took forever to get seated, stood in a crowd of patrons whilst being passed by unattentive employees. There was no one at the front to greet us and when anyone was actually working behind the counter they were only answering phones. We booked ahead of time and still had to wait roughly 25 minutes to be seated. The ordering process was rather chaotic there was a lot of miscommunication across staff and my group. But the cook was great he put on an amazing show and the food was amazing!“
“The service was great and the overall atmosphere was nice. The food portion was bigger and more generous than other ramen places. The broth was good but a little salty. The meat in it was pan-fried, so it was tough and too dry for ramen. You get the whole egg in the soup, instead of only half the egg xD.“
“Rice has long been our go-to place in DE for sashimi: thick cuts (as they should be), always fresh, expertly prepared. We love the wonton soup and fried rice as well, and everything we've tried from the non-sushi menu has always been a cut above. Everything tastes prepared fresh that day; the vegetables are crisp; it's never overloaded with salty, gooey sauce. So many places just cover up mushy vegetables and old rice with sugar-heavy sauce because it's what we Americans expect, but this restaurant seems to actually care about putting out quality. The staff is always courteous, too. Thank you for the lovely Valentine's Day meal my husband just brought home. You all are doing a terrific job.“
“I've been getting food here since I was a child and it has been amazing since then. Tiny, quaint, family owned. Owner is pleasant. The system they have in place for ordering food could use some refinement and the location is somewhat inconvenient, it also gets a little pricey for larger sizes and the portions could be a little bigger, but I would suffer through it every time because the food is sublime!“
“There is a large selection of food. Everything from pizza, chicken, fish, shrimp, crabs, crawfish, frog legs, and all the regular chinese restaurant food. Oh I almost forgot that they do Hibachi and they have a large selection of Sushi. The price is reasonable and food was seasoned good.“
“Decent price for a nice selection of sushi and other plates. Fish is fresh and the rolls are great to split. Unfortunately it got a little busy and the wait between orders got very long. Would recommend going on a weeknight to avoid hefty dinner “
“Only sushi place in New Castle. The rolls are good for the lack of options in the area.We usually pick up a Philly, shrimp tempura, and Boston. Recommend the house noodles and filet mignon, a small enough for two!Orders are fast and accurate, and the counter staff is polite.“
“Or waitress was very attentive but not overbearing. She kept our drinks full and checked in with us the perfect amount. The sushi was fresh and delicious and the presentation was on point.Parking: There is a parking lot out front of the restaurant.“
“Great place for delivery or takeout. I don't think they offer dine-in as it is pretty small inside (hence the rating for atmosphere, nothing wrong i just don't think that's what they're going for). Food is good, great prices, fast service.“
“We where there Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. The food was delicious but they needed more staff. It felt a bit chaotic and the place was a bit messy. The food is always consistent though.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp.“
“My wife and I make a point of finding a good sushi place no matter where we move, and this is one of the best places we've ever been. The quality of the sushi itself is absolutely incredible, absolutely delicious. And getting this quality at an all you can eat Sushi place is unheard of. 100 percent recommend“
“My husband and I both had their sushi special rolls, sunset Blvd and dynamite, and they were amazing! I want a fan of their veggie gyoza. It was very crispy and not very flavorful. My husband did like his pork gyoza, though. The biggest downside of this place is its lack of liquor license. It's very odd to have sushi without any saki or plum wine. The atmosphere was casual, and our easier was friendly and had a good sense of humor.“
“I like this place. They have a few different things on the menu, like fried onion rings and a meat carving station. They are quick with cleaning the used plates from. Your table and refilling your drinks. I think I like the service more than the food but the food isn't bad, just average for a buffet. I've been back a few times by myself. I like it“
“I have been living in Wilmington for the past 6 months and Mimi Teriyaki has been my best option when it comes to price-quality. If you get there Chicken and Beef Teriyaki or Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki, you will not be disappointed since they always give you enough food for two meals and the chicken has always been tender. Personally, I don't believe this place gets enough business due to its location, but I encourage people to go for lunch during work hours or even dinner for take out. At first, the owner and employees are friendly, but if you become a regular they will recognize you and treat you with kindness along with amazing customer service. This place might not be the fancy spot you are looking to dine-in, but if you are looking for the best local takeout Asian food in Wilmington, Mimi Teriyaki will be your best friend. Lastly, no business is perfect and I wish people could be more understanding and flexible when it is extremely busy or they make a simple mistake.“
“Me and my wife just had dinner here and it was great. What a fresh in your face culinary experience this is from the juicy filet mignon and scallops flash seared in front of you to perfection, to the sizzling veggies and chicken with shrimp flaring up nearby it is an absolute treat to enjoy fresh cooked food. Can't wait to come back.“
