“My first time at Gus's Crab Shack was back in December of 2021 when a band that i represent was hired by Gus to entertain his guests. Since that time, we have been a regular part of his entertainment lineup. What started as a spot at the back wall turned into a stage being built for all bands to play on and then with a new huge stage outside under a tent and then again, he added yet another stage outside under another tent. He started with just two bands a weekend and now has up to 5 bands a weekend. he has pulled out all stops in providing the best entertainment that he can for his patrons. As far as the food and service are concerned, we have no complaints. We always get what we ordered in a timely manner. The food is served hot, and beverages are ice cold. If we had any problem with an order, the staff makes it right very quickly. Gus, the owner makes it a habit to go around to meet his guest to see how they are doing and if everything is all right. We highly recommend Gus's Crab Shack. The staff is very courteous and friendly.“

“I went with my group on a Thursday which was a very light evening which allowed my group to enjoy our whole dining experience. Our server had time to explain the menu and make recommendation to our group that included a 4 year old. Why is this relevant? Because, she gave her the same respectful service as she did the adults. Thank you. Now let's get to the food. I had the Chicken Picatta. I had to take the picture because at the first bite I new it was about to be destroyed. I left nothing on the plate. The Impossible Sloppy for those who need a vegan option also got a thumbs up. The food comes out hot hot! No one complained! I will be back the next time I am in Delaware.“

“These have been the best fried hard wings I’ve had in a long time. They are always fried to my liking and the gentleman that I encountered today was great. I enjoyed our interaction. Mohin was his name and he was very kind and made sure to double check my order a few times to make sure I had the correct items. The restaurant is very clean if you ever want to sit and eat your food after you order and pick it up. They have a soda machine with the general flavors we all love. I’ve been here 4 times so far and I’ve yet to have a complaint. Thanks for being great!!!“

“A friend and I recently visited Mick’s, she had never been and loves crab, so we gave it a try. It was late on Friday evening when we arrived and thought we might have trouble getting a seat, but there were no issues for two people (I would recommend reservations for more). We ordered an app, fried mozzarella sticks and they were fresh, hot, and delicious. I then ordered shrimp tacos (grilled, but you can order fried as well). They were served with fries, but other options of sides are available. I received three large tacos, packed with shrimp and just the right amount of spice (I like a little spice with my taco’s). I ended up with one to go for lunch the following day, they were so filling. My friend enjoyed the premium crab cake and stated it was the best crab cake she has ever had. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, as was our waitstaff. Food arrived quickly, hot, and delicious. Also, we were enjoying our evening, so we spent extra time just enjoying conversation and did not feel rushed to move on.
Mick’s looks like a great place to hang out on game night, so I might have to give it a try. Nice size bar, TV’s all around and very friendly staff.
