Tonight staff was spectacular for a Monday busy night shift ! My items were off the dollar menu and were somewhat pricey, almost $20 for a cheeseburger, x2 mini roast beef sliders with fries & two small drinks.
Lots of people were walking in to sit down and eat, and for a Delaware fast food restaurant that was nice to see.

“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. If you are in the Newark area and would like some tasty and quick diner food, go there & ask for Alicia <3 Thanks Alicia will be there again real soon !”

You should look into the fire cracker banh mi cause it’s amazing. My experience with the staff has always been amazing since they’re all are so kind and friendly.”

“We heard about this place via Facebook and had to come try it out for ourselves. We tried their cheesesteaks. I have to say they were really good. They really pack a lot of steak! The owner interacted with us and was super cool and so nice. He was confident we’d come back and I think he’s right lol. We must try the cold subs next. Can’t go wrong with a nice Italian hoagie. “We stop in once a week. Sometimes we eat there and sometimes we call and pick up. The atmosphere is fabulous. If we ever do have to wait for our food, it’s totally worth it. If my husband and I are together we sit and have wine while we wait. They are all very friendly! If we get take out, we always get extra so we can have leftovers, which are always delicious. We reheat the pizza in the toaster oven, it’s amazing. We also love the desserts there! It’s just a great spot and we love it! I’ve never once been disappointed with any of their service or food.”

“The food and service here are excellent! We visited twice before catching a movie at Cinemark. The chicken katsu bun and toasted eel bun were both delicious. We also tried their sushi roll, which was fantastic. Highly recommend!

“I’m not usually hanging out in the area, but I needed to get my car windshield replaced yesterday and had to run a long zoom meeting afterwards. So I needed somewhere to camp out afterwards since I wouldn’t make it back home to wilmington in time. I stumbled upon this place in my “coffee shops” map search. Everyone working was very kind, and the drink + bagel i had were both so good that I felt compelled to actually write this FB review. I have been mourning the loss of my favorite wilmington boba spot (it sounds dramatic but I am serious, the others just aren’t the same) so am so glad to have found a good one, even if it’s a little bit of a hike.”
