“This place is absolutely great. We arrived just 10 mins before closing, but the staff was helping us choose and place an order for eggfree and sugarless ice creams. (We were ordering for a baby, and we are vegetarians). The staff mentioned that their ice cream has no added sugar. Also, the egg free list had many options, too. We ordered the flavors :
1. Tender coconut,
2. peanut butter and jelly,
3. chocolate almond,
4. raspberry and chip

All the ice creams were absolutely delicious. Finally, I found some sugar-free ice cream that my baby could indulge in along with us.“

“I would normally recommend Six Paulpers, HOWEVER, last night's service was terrible. Not sure what the problem was. We first waited for quite awhile for a waitress, so we just went to the bar to get our own drinks. The waitress shows up, we order our food, and it took quite awhile to get to us. My husband got the French dip and fries, I got the cheesesteak egg rolls. The FFs were cold, greasy and had no taste. My egg rolls were burnt. I sent the FF's back, and asked to see if the chef would like to look at the FF's! She goes OK, but the chef isn't in, just the sous chef! And that was it! 🤣We had to go to the bar for another drink. We finally saw our waitress again for us to ask for the bill! Hope this was just an off night!😬“

“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. “Newtown is a historic, colonial town, and is very quaint and charming. Within, the Mercury Cafe is a gym with delicious comfort food and great coffee. While it’s vegetarian, many of the dishes can be prepared vegan. The BBQ pulled oats sandwich, pastrami panini, grilled cheese and tomato soup were all so good and comforting. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!“

“This was my first time eating at Cava and the person who made my order Yoselin did an amazing job! She gave me exactly what i wanted and was so polite to me. Her service at Cava was 10/10! She even offered to help me choose something to get since it was my first time and her patience with me was nice of her as I didn’t know what to get at first. The food was also a 10/10, the chicken was really tasty and so were the fresh pita chips that i got. Cava is going to be now my first choice when it comes to eating out Thanks to Yoselin!“

“A wonderful place with a healthy variety of food so there's something for everyone. They're very accommodating with the options— not everything is vegan, but it feels like at least half of the menu is, and if it isn't then it can be made vegan. Menu items are conveniently and clearly labeled so you know what is vegan, gluten-free, or has nuts, among other things, and I can't stress enough how much I really wish every place did this. The seitan wings and loaded totchos are some of my favorites on the appetizer end- the "wings" in particular feel nice and juicy and have a great texture that I've been trying and failing to replicate at home. They have a really killer plant burger too known as the California Gardenator, which for me is always a big +10 points especially seeing how many places' "plant options" will just be an Impossible Patty; they also have delicious and flavorful tacos made with soy curls. The location unfortunately has the same "issue" as the other Main Street locations in Newark, which is that's there not a great way to quickly park and go even if you just want to pick something up (and all the parking spots on Main Street are metered because of course they need to capitalize off of the UD kids) but the actual building is a gorgeous establishment with great indoor/outdoor seating and friendly staff. Some may disagere but I found the prices pretty reasonable for the quality and it feels like the portions are plentiful— I've underestimated how much food they give you a few times.“

“It was nice to have dinner inside a restaurant. You could see the care of clean up, the guests were spaced nicely. Our meals were fresh, full of flavor, and enough for a lunch the following day. Our server Pat was her ever charming self and mixes a great basil lemon cocktail.“

“We only get a chance to come here on the weekends there is normally a wait but it's never more than 20 min. The staff is always super friendly and nice, and very knowledgeable about the menu. It is a VAST menu so it might take a while to decide what you want but we have tried a bunch of things and nothing has been short of wonderful. Price is on par for what you get rolls are a good size at an average price with quality ingredients. Highly recommend the soup dumplings! We always try to get something new but keep getting those dumplings!

Parking: It's near the food court in the mall so parking can be challenging but it is free

Kid-friendliness: We have taken out 2 year old every time we have been here we just get her a side of rice and some popcorn chicken, staff is very accommodating to kids and they have kids cup and high chairs

Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor location and is technically on the outside of the mall so easy access from the street“

Started with the traditional guacomole made table side accompanied by a delicious margarita. Loved this dish! Tried the Dip Sampler with the warm chips ~ another pleasant surprise with so many flavors. Carnitas tacos were made with fresh ingredients and selected the flour tortilla instead of the corn tortilla. So good!! Mexican corn was ok. I will go back; frankly, can't wait to go back!“

Decent prices, great service. They stayed open for takeout throughout the Covid period. This is a local favorite. They have another location called GuGu Asian table just outside of town. I haven't been there but my brother says I is just as good. Recommend you purchase a take home bottle of their salad dressing. Best I've ever tasted.“
