Amazing burger
Got the double spicy smashburger and it was INSANELY good. Fries were great too. If I’m craving a burger this will be the only spot in Newark I go to

Cousin's Burger is a solid spot for burgers in the Newark area, with multiple locations including West Chester and Philly. The menu is limited, but the smash burger checks every box. The spicy burger and fries do not disappoint, and the cheese steak and Nashville hot chicken with halal bacon and eggs taste amazing. The chicken tendies and wings are fried to order, and the beef bacon is a rare find. There is also a vegan burger. The fries always hit, and the milkshake is excellent. The Joe Tea is so good. The store is clean and organized, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the workers are fantastic and super nice. Customers order at a kiosk and the cook brings burgers over. Free parking is available around the back. This is a great find while exploring downtown Newark DE, a cute little area right around university.
