“First time ordering from here tonight and we WILL BE BACK… like a lot. We live in pike creek and will make the drive. We got the red beans and rice, gumbo and tomato soup and we need to try the rest of the menu! My husband and I just got back from New Orleans and my husband was sad because he loved the food so I googled and found this place! The gumbo was literally better than we had down there 😍 SO GOOD. And everyone working when I picked up (one was the owners daughter) were so passionate about how they make everything from scratch and kept giving me samples of everything and telling me their story. It’s a WONDERFUL locally owned place that should be protected at all costs. Cannot recommend enough!“

“Had a wonderful Dunch at Snuff Mill today. Fabulous food, ambiance, and service! Shout out to Dorrie. I was able to get in at 3:30 but starting to fill up as I was leaving around 5pm on a Tuesday!... Definitely make a reservation for dinner! Some outdoor seating with heaters but also saw lap blankets.“

“THE best takeout in the area and I feel like it’s a best kept secret. It took us years to know they even had takeout and have enjoyed their boom boom shrimp, clams, crab cakes, fish and chips. All perfectly cooked and delicious on top of being reasonably priced.“

“The Reef Food & Steak is easily one of the best hidden gems on the East Coast. From the outside, sitting in a modest shopping plaza, you might think it’s just another neighborhood bar but step inside and it’s a completely different experience.
The food alone is worth the visit. The Philly Eggrolls were absolutely amazing perfectly crisp, flavorful, and packed just right. The wings? Next level. The Old Bay Wings, in particular, were truly unforgettable seasoned to perfection and cooked exactly how wings should be.
And the Sangria… easily the best I’ve had on the East Coast. Smooth, refreshing, and dangerously good.
What truly sets this place apart beyond the food and drinks is the service. From the owner to the servers, everyone is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure you have a great experience. You can feel the pride and hospitality throughout the entire establishment, which elevates everything even more.
What really takes this place over the top is the live entertainment. Best Kept Soul delivers an incredible performance every time talented, engaging, and they know how to keep the entire room energized. As someone in event planning who has actually booked them, I can confidently say they’re the real deal.
There’s a reason you need to reserve a table a month in advance. Between the food, the drinks, the top-tier service, and the atmosphere, this place stays packed and for good reason.

“We were there on Tuesday night for their 2 for $60 dinner specials....awesome meal..
..spinach& strawberry salad, 14 Oz new york strip steak with a brandy and pepper corn sauce,potato, fresh asparagus...wife had shrimp rossoto ....cheese cake and death by chocolate cake for dessert.

The younger lady behind the counter has consistently seemed irritated and rude every time I visited (months apart). Would be a better experience if I don’t feel like I’m being rushed and bothering the staff.“
