“We stopped by over the weekend only because we were too early to be where we needed to be. My youngest daughter has cancer and wasn’t really feeling well. We were sat at a table, thought everything was fine, but she didn’t want the chairs (hip surgery, legs were hurting) So we asked for a high chair and still no, then a booth and she was finally comfortable! I was so overwhelmed but the young women working were being so sweet and without even a second look they were accommodating. We thought our girl wouldn’t eat, but she asked for bacon and she said it was the best bacon! All of our food was amazing, even though we had to speed eat to get to where we needed to be. I really couldn’t be more thankful and appreciative for how we were treated, I was at my breaking point and ended up leaving with a very happy family. Thank you!“

“This was my first time eating at J. Alexander and I was so pleased with everything about this place. The atmosphere was very pleasant. It was a group of 10 of us celebrating the birthday of one in the group. Our server Misty was awesome, she was so helpful and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with everything we ordered. Now to the food, WOW!!! everyone enjoyed the steaks, crab cakes, salads, warm bread with butter, celantro shrimp and to top it off the warm carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Yum,Yum. “We sat in the outdoor patio along with other happy patrons celebrating the end of the work week. The staff are all friendly and fast on their feet! The restaurant has the feel of an informal gathering place but the food and drink are all very good and served in good time. It fits in nicely with the 5 Points ambience.“

Between the 5 of us, we had the filet mignon, the dry aged NY strip, the tuna (that was mine and it was awesome) and the salmon (plus lobster bisque, and for starters we tried the Nueske's Smoked Bacon, the Crab Cocktain and the Prosciutto Mozzarella).Every thing was cooked perfect and topped off with excellent service, we couldn't have had a nicer dinner!! “Basically good food but last night they ran out of biscuits at dinner time. Waitress said 30-45 minutes for some to cook. Wife had the turkey and dressing special but the turkey look it was a loaf type turkey breast. Waitress was excellent and apologetic about the meal. Will eat there again probably next week.“

We came for lunch one day: we shared the crab cake (highly recommend) and tuna crackers (soooooo good). I had the beet and goat cheese salad, I’m obsessed. We came back the next day and had breakfast; the country omelette is fantastic! We tried the lavender French 75, which was recommended by the server, it was super refreshing and a cute twist on a classic. My personal favorite was the blueberry margarita! The Brick is gem!“
