“The inside of this restaurant was really clean, and very quiet with very little customers when I arrived. Our waitor was nice and answered all the questions we had.
Now the food! I really enjoyed my french toast, it was sweet, but not too sweet, and it wasn't soggy at all. The potatoes were solid, and I loved the thickness of the Belgian waffle. The cheese grits however were TERRIBLY bland. The sweeter items were made the best in comparison to the other items, so I'd definitely recommend them!
In total, we spent about $80 for 3 meals. So it's a little pricey, but I'd come back to try their stuffed french toast.“

“I know this isn't a local joint, but it was late and local options were slim at the time. I wanted to send a shout out to Waffle House on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville for an excellent experience last night. We walked in for a late dinner at 10 minute to 9. They were packed and short staffed. We grabbed the only open table and the shift leader (manager?), who was also cooking, brought our drinks and took our order, advising that it may be a wait. While we were there, 4 staff members that had been called in to help showed up and went right to work. They were a well oiled machine, continually checking on all of the tables, apologizing for the wait, and thanking everyone for their patience. We got our food and left within an hour. If we had gone to the IHOP 2 doors down, we would have still been waiting for our food (even in the best of times.) I know times are tough for the service industry right now, but these ladies and gentlemen handled it with grace and efficiency. I tipped 50% of the bill, and would have done much more if I could have.“

“Stopped by this Waffle House heading to a cruise and was immediately greeted by an amazing server named Kat/Cat. She was pleasant, friendly and extremely inviting. Her personality was everything. She constantly checked on us and was so charismatic. The food was actually perfect. Everything was right on time and this experience made our day. Perfect way to start a vacation. I frequent Waffle House in Dallas and this visit to #71 in Jacksonville Fl near the airport was by far the best, thanks to Kat/Cat! If you are ever in Jacksonville Fl be sure to stop by and ask for Kat/Cat, it will be worth it. Thanks Kat/Cat!!“

You could tell that she wasn't having the best day but she did everything she could to please those people and they still managed to complain to the manager and get a free meal. “This place is kind of hidden. It’s at the far end of the building by the hotel. Go in past the fountains, walk by the elevators, and you’ll see it. The food’s tasty and easy on the wallet. Their pancakes are good and they have big to-go salads for $10“

“The new staff member that are the servers are wonderful. I went to Pier 151 when it was open prior to new management and going back was hard. However Michelle, Samara, and Miea are wonderful. They exceeded my expectations since I was nervous to go back to the restaurant without my original service animal. I have another one and she did amazing for her first time. My husband got the Eggstreme biscuits & gravy & I got the sausage egg & cheese biscuit. We ate every single bite & I was mopping up the last of the gravy with a piece of leftover biscuit. Mmmmm… they have lots of breakfast options but they have plenty of lunch options as well. We loved it. The staff was superb, very attentive and accommodating. “Last time I was at an IHOP, a roach decided to join me on top of the table (in Charlotte, NC) so I left immediately but I decided to give it a try again and I'm in awe. Forgot to take a photo cuz it was so delicious. Had sirloin tips with fries (golden and crispy, 😋) and green beans. I was not disappointed. Thank you IHOP, I will definitely be back.“
