“We had a work 2026 New Year's Eve party at Island Wings on Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. I worked with Rashad Graham, the catering manager and our waiter named Jared. They were FANTASTIC!!! Every step of the way in planning, Rashad was there and ready to help and give suggestions. When I arrived, early, for the party they already had everything set-up and ready to go. Rashad came and met me and introduced me to Jared. They had everything planned. Jared was assigned only to our group for getting cocktails. He was amazing, taking care of close to 35 people and no one was ever searching and searching for him. He remembered names and faces. The food was delicious and there was SO MUCH! They supplied boxes and we all took home some food. I have to say, this was one of the BEST parties we have ever had! Will be looking to them again for a other party in the future.“

“I came into Bold City Wings on a Sunday afternoon and had such a phenomenal experience! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was top notch and made me feel welcomed right away. Establishment was clean and wasn’t packed that day.

The food was just as impressive. The grilled wings with teriyaki were chef’s kiss… perfectly cooked and full of flavor. And the lemonade? Freshly squeezed taste. The strawberry lemonade was my favorite for sure. The grilled wings were my favorite. Kind of reminded me of jerk chicken, without the sauce.

If I absolutely had to give one con, it would be to make the lemonade a $1 cheaper lol… but that’s it!

My daughter who is incredibly shy LOVED Barb SO much!!! She drew her a picture on a sticky note Barb gave her. It made my daughter's whole day when she stuck the picture on the cooler. She kept telling me how awesome it made her feel. From the service ALL the way down to that "Southern Hospitality" this place did NOT disappoint. “Not sure the gentleman’s names that helped me out today, they were there when I showed up (4:30pm-5:30pm) but the service was excellent. I got a decent order and asked for some extra ranches, usually some stores give me a hard time about it but one of the guys there didn’t sweat it. I opened my order and I thought I got boneless wings, but they were bone in. I go back inside expecting to pay for more, but the guys were kind enough to replace them with boneless. The aroma was absolutely amazing and the first bite told me everything I needed to know about this place and who cooked the food. It was made with pure love. I ordered the general TSO with fried rice and my wife ordered the chicken with mixed vegetables and lo mein. This is by far the best Chinese food I have ever had in my whole 34 years of life I would highly recommend and this is my new and permanent spot for Chinese food.“

“I was in town from Savannah GA for a wedding at 2pm 22nov25 at St Juan Catholic Church. The Georgia Bulldogs were playing Charlotte at 12:45pm Hurricanes was one of the closest restaurant/ sports bars to the church. The staff was very accommodating., they put the game on one of the TVs I was able to watch the first quarter & still make the wedding in time. After the wedding I stopped back by to catch the last 05:35 of the game. A staffer custom made me a side salad that was sooo good with blue cheese & bacon bits. I left for the country club for a post wedding dinner. I recommend Hurricanes & am likely to go there again when I am in Fruit Cove or Switzerland Florida.“

“My philly chicken sub was made with pita bread instead of a sub roll. I wasn't told this when I picked up my order. Now it's literally falling apart and I have to eat it with a fork. Honestly love the food but wish they would make orders correctly or advise customers before making modifications, if they're out of sub rolls.“

“Just recently, I ordered the garlic honey wings at 1030 pm last Saturday. Absolutely, over hard. I did not order the wings to be fried hard. I realize that ordering that late could be a mistake. It was. Today ordered my favorite gang. Pep wings. Not the same. Huge drums not crispness. I have been coming religiously for at least a year. Just recently, my expectations have been let down.
