“What a great place. The food was delicious. It's really the service that made our evening so pleasant. The entire staff was great. When we had questions about items that weren't on the current menu or modifications they were accommodating and helpful. I forgot to take pictures of the food we were having such a good time. Everything was yummy, I had the broiled platter.... And let me mention, the pork chop...Yes the pork chop at a fish camp...is delicious. The place is popular and I would suggest getting a reservation.“

The guys are great who run the place. If I didn't live at the beaches, I'd be there 3 times a week. The prices don't make sense. They don't make sense! That giant Philly is $12! The Cali burrito w real carne asada and homemade in house guacamole is $13.50 like how?!?! They care about their customers that's how. They're not cash grabbing like every other business post pandemic. I will support them until the day I croak. I'm assuming they'll stay in business that long the way they're operating things.“

“I cannot say enough nice things about the steaks, and our waitress, Victorya. She made the experience real for us, especially when we told her that this visit was our first time. She took extra time to tell us about the menu, the caloric amounts, etc. She also elaborated on the sizes of dishes so we knew what to expect. She continued her star performance throughout, ensuring our experience lined up with the Seasons 52 design. Even if the food wasn't on par, her service was enough to keep us happy.The food, the steaks were the star of the night, cooked and flavored to perfection. The potatoes I had, on point and flavored perfectly. The minor misses were the scallops, not very flavorful, and could have been cooked a touch longer, and the mac-n-cheese side was a bit dry. “Went here for the first time on Sunday for brunch with a friend. We had made reservations online and were seated right away upon arrival. Our server was incredibly nice and went over the menu and specials in detail, explaining that they work with other local businesses and their food is always made fresh. We had a chocolate chip cherry bread to start and it was DELICIOUS! Both of us enjoyed our main entrees and drinks. Very relaxing, comfortable atmosphere, fantastic & welcoming staff, scrumptious eats and great cocktail list. Will definitely be back!“

“Love the food here and now love it even more thanks to the manager Brittany! I had an order for pick up that my husband picked up and didn’t check the order before leaving. Well he gets home and I’m missing half my order and one item I did receive was completely not what I ordered. I called and talked to Brittany the manager she said I can come pick up the correct order. Well I told her I didn’t live close by and she offered to drop it off to me when she got off work. I told her that was not necessary and it was so sweet of her considering she said she lives in Orange park and I on the Northside. It just the perfect amount of seasoning and charred just the way I like it. Seated New Bedford scallops - can I just say these were some of the best scallops I've ever had? So fresh, so moist and tender, perfectly seared on one side with flavors locked in each bite The grits were creamy and the broth presented with a nice flavorful. Collard greens were cut like I prefer them to be, not too big that it slivers down and makes you choke and not too small that it makes you feel like you're eating shredded veggies. The service is pretty quick and they’re always very nice and check on you often. “Jessica was an AWESOME server. She didn’t hover, but seemed to appear just exactly when we needed her. I wanted the crab omelette without cream cheese AND I wanted the veg omelette without feta and so she made a combo of the two, removing the feta and cream cheese and adding crab, jack cheese and sliced green onion to the veggie omelet. Oh delicious!! I have a new favorite! (Sorry for the change-up!). I’d LOVE to have a server exactly like Jessica every time I go into a restaurant. “The Charleston burger was fantastic-great thick burger that was prepared nicely. The fries have that crunchy coating which is delicious. A few suggestions: 1. There is no claw game and my kids saw one in the photos for the place. Silly I know, however if you have kids it's everything. Also probably a huge moneymaker so investing in one would be good because kids make you return for this type of thing 2. Don't put diced green onion on a kids pizza as garnish. My daughter loved it once we picked it off, but most kids are picky and if they want extras they'll ask for it 3. The buck game didn't work, even with dollars so again, I think this would probably be a decent way to make additional money so make sure the games work as my kids likely would have spent half my wallet I'm only giving suggestions because I really liked this place, our waitress was friendly and very attentive. The food was great and I really want us to go back again soon!“

“The food is great and taste fresh. An older gentleman is taking the order is nice and humble. Seems like he is the only one working there but always has a smile. “I experienced superb service and great food at this smart downtown Jax restaurant. I arrived just after their 4pm opening. They were offering their happy hour menu which is more limited than their full menu, but has plenty of options. I enjoyed an ''Immunity Idol" cocktail during the brief wait for my food. My server was attentive and very knowledeable about the menu items. I had a burger and fries - it was a comfort food kind of afternoon for me - and will go back soon to try other menu items soon.“

I got the garlic, Parmesan french fries, which were absolutely delicious and I could not stop, inhaling them, as well as a regular grilled cheese sandwich, but I was allowed to substitute American cheese for Swiss, which made me really happy. I will eat the fruit later, but it looks fresh and tasty. I actually ordered two, but the first sandwich was extremely filling, the second will be supper. The price is not bad for what you get, $8.99 for the sandwich and side. I had mine delivered and I didn't have to wait forever to get it. I highly recommend Metro Diner on Roosevelt Blvd.“
