“They were so nice. They even carried our plates to the car. We went the day before and the card machine was down and we didn’t have cash. They gave us an order of jerk chicken on the house so we had to go back. I’m so glad we did. In a world where everyone is so mean and selfish it was a blessing to come across such nice gentlemen. The jerk chicken is delicious. I finally had a real patty and it was good. We also had ox tails and curry chicken. Yums. It was lunchtime and there was also a fresh fruit juice truck in the parking lot. It was our best Orlando experience thus far.“
“I got the jerk chicken, rice & peas, and cabbage. The cabbage and jerk chicken were absolutely superb! The jerk chicken is a tad spicy, but it worked well with all the flavors. The manager was excellent but our waiter was less than satisfactory. Nevertheless, I will definitely be returning!Parking: Easy“
“We came to support Kblack for FiYAH Sundayz, a great show, and we ate the special Fish and Grits. The fish was crispy and had a hot sauce glaze that was hot enough to make your lips burn but sweet enough I would have eaten another couple of orders my self. This perfect piece of protein was played with care over a smooth and creamy order of Grits. The grits were adorned with caramelized pepper and onion, with an orange sauce that I would probably drink it was so tasty.Located in the heart of Historic Eatonville under the water tower. This is one of Orlando's best vegan restaurants that specializes in a Jamaican/Caribbean fare. Stop by and support or come check out FiYAH Sundayz at 6pm.Vegetarian options: Best in town!“
“Tim was our server and he went above and beyond. Wanted to give him a massive shout out as he made the experience tonight (3.25.24) that much better.Check in was easy and helpful. Did not catch the young ladies name.Food was fantastic. Came out very quickly, and was cooked very well. All around a great experience.Kid-friendliness: Yes, we went with our two boys 6 and a year and a half.“
“I was in Orlando from Tampa and wanted some conch salad. I was lucky to find this gem because it's a True Bahamian. I had the crack conch, chicken, Coleslaw, peas and rice and Mac n cheese. Which all was good. But for me, I love me some conch salad and it hit the spot so I had to get 2nd order. I will be back. ??242“
“So impressed with the food , service and prices ! I ordered the Goat soup omg , it was amazing !! Please look at my pictures . The brown stew fish was superb !! I will be a loyal customer! So happy I stopped and saw your Goat sign in front of your door !! 10 out of 10 ??“
“I loveeeeee me a good drag show! Everything went smooth as far as getting reservations. Parking is a little hard to find unfortunately but we ended up finding a lot we paid $10 to park. When we got there it did take a little bit to get greeted by our server but they all were super apologetic. I loved how all the staff worked together to make sure all tables were tended to. Everyone loved their food. I unfortunately didn't get my food due to the kitchen running out of what I ordered but that was ok. I'm came into this knowing how this goes so I understood it was a chance to not get what I wanted. I do think the menu needs a little updating to more simplified dishes but they had a few great choices nonetheless. The show was great. The main queen did seem a little exhausted but she was still great. We absolutely loved the other two girls and their acts. Just an overall fun time!“
“I did a search for Sanford seafood & knew I wanted some local flavor so was looking for off the beaten path & Telicious did not disappoint! After reading several reviews & looking at pics decided to go in & try the garlic rice with grilled shrimp, cabbage, mac & cheese & this food was off the hook good!!!????? The portions are very generous & felt like I got great value at just under $20 for my dinner plate & great customer service too!!“
“They came down from Brooklyn! Carribbean inspired dishes that taste great! Nice and friendly staff. Awesome, freshly cooked rotis! Just had their jerk chicken and it was amazing! And they do catering and have a beautiful party room and outdoor area!“
“Went to go donate plasma at BioLife and needed a quick bite. Found this place right around the corner of the building and man am I glad I stopped by.Didn't catch the dudes name that was up front, but he was awesome. Bald bearded dude like myself. Told him about my gastric surgery and he was happy to help me pick out something. LOVED the curry chicken and jerk chicken.Definitely making this place a regular stop!“
“It is a great place to eat. The food was delicious. I will definitely come back and recommend you stop by. The place is also very clean. Took some food home and my husband said, "That's the best potato soup I've ever eaten, where did you get that from? The collar greens were delicious. We have to go there for dinner one day." Yes, I agreed that was the best potato soup I've eaten.“
“I got the Vegan Ackee and Calaloo Meal with tossed salad, cabbage and rice & peas. It was very, very delicious. The cabbage was the best I ever had. The food was hot and fresh. My girlfriend enjoyed her jerk chicken as well. I will definitely come back for more vegan ackee and cabbage!!!!!“
“listen this was the best food i've had while visiting orlando!!! i was looking for someplace open late besides fast food. wasn't expecting it to be this good, yet it was amazing. i didn't get a picture of it before i started eating but this is after i stuffed myself silly. i had the goat with rice and plantians. my friends had the red snapper and it too was outstanding (i tried it myself).“
“This is not an authentic Jamaican restaurant. However, the food was actually pretty good. I ordered the Oxtail, and it was tender and nice. They had me holding the bone and everything, lol. The atmosphere was good too. I loved the ambiance and decor. The waitress was also very pleasant to talk to. I would recommend trying them out.“
“Amazing! The chef / owner has fantastic customer service. While I was waiting for my food to finish, I was offered samples of other foods to try. The inside seating is about 6 chairs at the bar plus a few chairs around the pool table. Seems to be a bar / pool hall that was converted to a restaurant. Plays hip hop / pop music at a medium level. You get to watch your food cook right in front of you. Btw, the owner is from the US Virgin Islands. My food was so good. My life is complete. Haha. I’m glad there are some thriving business in Parramore. I’ll admit, the area was a little sketchy but there’s street parking directly in front of the restaurant so I didn’t have to walk far from my car.“
“I found Caribbean Sunshine Bakery while searching for a soul food restaurant since I was visiting from Philly. It's has a beautiful atmosphere and the food was perfect. Especially the fried red snapper and cabbage. I will definitely visit again when I'm in town.“
“So glad I found out about this place! I got the chicken, Mac & cheese, and djon djon rice, and it was all so delicious and flavorful. If you’re thinking about trying this place, do it. The people were friendly too! Will definitely be back.“
“Came here for lunch on a cold day in Orlando. I was looking for some fresh authentic Caribbean soup. They have different types of soups on different days. I went on a Tuesday and they happen to have chicken soup which was really delicious. It was not salty, not spicy. It had lots of veggies lots of broth. I ordered the small and it was fairly large for one person.I would go back and try some other soups in addition to some meats they had some fresh looking sides, and there was not much of a wait.“
“I used delivery app so no idea about restaurant interior. I got a large tofu with rice & peas, plantains, cabbage, boiled banana & sweet potato. The tofu stewed sauce was so good! Plantains were soft and sweet. Happy I took a chance and tried a new place.“
“Today was the first time that i order from this place. Best Believe that I was not was not Disappointment, my steak was season cooked right,Macaroni and cheese was good The greens was good. The lapse of tail and the shrimp will Superb. I guarantee I'll be back“
“The true definition of don’t judge the book by its cover. Or don’t overlook a restaurant because it might be out of the way or look closed. The open sign is on, go in. A real surprise. Jerk flavors to the max. Friendly owner. Chicken was generously spiced but not overpowering. Jerk sauce was blazing but tolerable. Reasonable prices. Definitely going back.“
“If you are checking out a show at Level 13 and feel your stomach growlin’ at you for not eating all day before the big show, then stop here!! I had such a good experience at this cute little food truck.I got the fish fry special! I said see you later vegetarian ways I’m eating deep fried fish from a food truck in Orlando! WOW! The tilapia was incredible! The batter was seasoned perfectly! A nice blend of flavors. It also came with these things called “festivals” it’s like a deep fried dough. Incredible!!Also, side note, the head chef has a secret spicy sauce. Ask him about it!!!Definitely worth a stop. Super happy to have made it. Shout out to the wonderful people in the truck making magic happen. They also cater events if you are looking!!Vegetarian options: Veggie patty! Mac and cheese!Parking: Lots of space!! Easy in and out!Wheelchair accessibility: It was a food truck in an open parking lot!“
“I never care to review any places, but this is my favorite spot in all of America, so I want them to improve! Food is always amazing, but some days customer service is great, other days is just horrible! I ordered my food 20 minutes prior so that it would be ready for me, upon arrival, cashier informed me that she gave my food to someone else since I didn't come right away. I agree to wait another 20 minutes so they would prepare my food, half an hour later, I was obliged to leave the store and go eat somewhere else. This isn't the first time this happen. I hope management address this issue asap so it doesn't happen again! My fav spot always“
“When ever in Orlando and I want Oxtail I always come to Golden Krust. Large portions always can eat off of plate multiple times. And can’t forget to get a tropical rhythm drink I always get pineapple Ginger. Festival is also good from here as well as their beef patties.“
“All on the menu is great at the Nova Rd. location in Daytona Beach.I'm from New York and it was hard to find a Caribbean restaurant with spices used straight from Jamaica. Miss Rose and her son Jordan are the best. Pleasant and kind atmosphere. Food always fresh. Jerk chicken is my favorite. Look out for the sour sop drink about to hit the menu I'm so excited I've eaten there about 3 times this week. Oh and of course the rice and peas is on point don't forget little oxtail gravy over it lol.“
“The family that owns this business is always friendly and welcoming to all of its patrons. The food is clean and delicious.Servings are generous, and did I mention that the food is delicious. Oxtail jerk pork jerk chicken cury chicken cury goat rice and peas or white rice, jamaican patties, and coco bread all made fresh in house with love.Parking: It has plenty of free parking.“
“So so so so good! My family and I stopped in today and were blown away with how good the food was. Every dish we had was great and the staff was incredibly nice! We were in the area applying for an apartment and in literally praying we get approved because I need to eat here more lol also… the sorrel….. THE BEST SORREL I HAVE EVER HAD! Oh and the side sauces. Make sure to try them all. Each one is so delicious. They should bottle and sell them at the counter honestly. Fantastic spot. So happy I came in today and can’t wait to go again.“
“Visited this restaurant on Sunday February 11, 2024 for the first time, l had the tripe and beans. OMG!!!!! I ate the whole box of food, not a grain of rice was left in my box to save a life, mark you, the portions are not small at all. I ate that thing up!!!! The chef stepped out so l did not get a chance tell him what an excellent chef he was. This food, the man dropped his hands into it man. All over restaurants are open BUT this is the RESTAURANT to eat at if you want your money’s worth, good service, clean, good tasting food brethren!!!! “I ordered two small Curry chicken plate for pick up. It took her couple mins longer for her to put it together but baby when I got it it was more like a medium she filled it up and she gave me extra sauce w. Seasoning was perfection and that there was potatoes. and the cabbage was not salting but still crunchy. tasted like home I had to eat it and put some away for later. Now that I know about this place I can’t go anywhere else for my curry chicken.I will be back . oh and I got a beef patty it was pretty good . service was … .. but food was good“
“What an outstanding meal!Do not hesitate to go and thoroughly enjoy authentic Guyanese meals. Plus delicious treats like cheese rolls, black eye cake, metai and salted peanuts! The black pudding took me back to my childhood and my husband raved about their duck curry! Everything I’ve tasted was delicious and authentic. The owner and the beautiful lady, sorry I forgot your name ,amazing as well. Definitely a stop when I’m in that area. Love the atmosphere, and the love from the Guyanese folks.Kid-friendliness: My kid loves the black pudding/ blood sausage.“
“As a chef and Trinidadian in Orlando, this is the closest I’ve gotten to the food from home. And as a staunch south Trini eating roti in Gasparillo and Penal all my life, it takes A LOT to recommend roti anywhere. The curry beef is spot on and this was the softest and fluffiest paratha I have ever gotten in Orlando. Definitely recommend giving this small family business a try.“
