“Today I stopped in for some wellness shots & left with much more. First time trying the Buffalo Chickpea Salad & I ate it on my way home it looked so good-it was amazing! Then I broke into the homemade Broccoli Potato soup-yummy! Washed it all down with the watermelon Good Vibrations juice! For breakfast, lunch or a snack break you cannot go wrong. Steak breakfast burrito 🌯 is amazing and the daily specials are a deal and a half!

Tiffany the owner always remembers frequent customer names and asks how you are. Infact, the whole crew is always friendly and makes you feel welcome.

“The old man is a grump lol but he's good at remembering you and what you like, which is great service in my book because you build a relationship that way. Plus, his current employee Vicky is really nice and balances him out. I am picky with food but love the meatloaf, fried pork loin (white gravy is the best), quesadillas, and potato day (Thursday) is the best. I haven't been going lately to save money but won't miss potato day!

Vegetarian options: Potato day and when he serves quesadillas, you can ask it without chicken. Plus he sells white rice and black beans, mac and cheese, soup“

“If I’m feeling extra hipster, I really dig Foxtail Coffee - specifically the Winter Park location on Orange Avenue. It’s charming in a handlebar moustache kinda way, and I’m always drawn to working on a screenplay in one of the tight corner spot. They have cool implements of caffeinated wonder, and some other edible treats that can keep your mojo in a fluid state.

The location on Lee Road has none of that. It’s a purely drive thru model, more of a Kia version of the Rolls Royce. I had a mocha recently, and in shot form, it was pretty decent. I tried to sit outside on the patio, but the traffic was a distraction. In the summer, this will be a zero-sum game.

If you’re looking for a solid alternative to Starbucks, I can give Foxtail a firm thumbs up. Be sure to give the breakfast sandwich a whirl. And if you’re craving the coffee shop vibe for some creative deliberation, they do have some cool spots - just not this one.

“We’ve been meaning to try this place for a while, Peach Valley Café gets the green light from us. The food is well-portioned and tasty, the staff is very friendly (they were happy to re-seat us when we decided to switch from indoors to the porch) and the atmosphere is chill. It's really tough to find places that have intriguing new flavors, but also find the right balance so the drink isn't all syrup or flavor. “The restaurant was very busy and we had made a reservation. We arrived a few minutes early and we were greeted by a very nice young man. We could see that it was going to be awhile, but we were not concerned. They kept telling us how sorry they were, (they were short handed) and the owner/chef even came out to thank us for being so patient. We were seated and the chef came out and apologized again. I ordered a glass of wine from him and then received another. He also gave us a special treat as a thank you for our kindness and patience. We ordered and cannot say enough of how good the food once. I am Italian, have eaten in Italy numerous times and this is like being there. He has a good menu, not large, but the food is excellent. When we ordered we received our food quickly. We plan to return to Mount Dora, as we cruise a lot, and definitely will visit them again!“

“Nice little place with a decent coffee/drink menu and a small food menu. I was drawn here because they have vegan options for breakfast, which is what I was looking for. I got the tofu scramble Huevos Rancheros as a bowl, and it was tasty! I started mixing the bowl before I took a picture, so my picture doesn’t quite represent what it looked like when I got it. I enjoyed the music they had playing as well, which is always a plus for me.“

“My family stopped in today before we caught a flight home today. My aunt and uncle live in Mount Dora and visit there often. My mom and I were visiting from Saint louis Missouri and was our first time there. I really wanted to give a shout out to your waiter that was working this morning around noon!! He was a superstar running around like crazy today. He was taking orders, seating customers, and cashing out customers. There was only one cook and one busser/dishwasher. Apparently 2 people had called in sick and he was so busy he couldn’t even call for someone to come in to help him. The crew this morning definitely deserves a raise. Unfortunately I didn’t get their names. But they all did a great job.“

Staff is very unprofessional and rude.
