“My parents drove from Clermont to pick me up in Dr. Phillips, and we headed to Peruanísima Bakery in Altamonte Springs. It was absolutely worth the drive! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so warm and welcoming. A special thank-you to the gentleman who introduced himself, walked us through the menu, helped us choose our food, and told us about the daily specials and what was coming fresh out of the oven. He even made us feel perfectly comfortable having breakfast at 3 p.m.! We ordered three chicharrón sandwiches, and they were incredible. The beautifully sliced onions with lime, the ají amarillo sauce, and the slices of sweet potato tucked onto the bottom bun made every bite so flavorful. I’d never had sweet potato in a sandwich like that before, and it completely changed the game! Literally finger-licking good, and yes, we did! My dad is Peruvian and VERY hard to impress, so hearing him call this one of the best food experiences he’s had in Central Florida says everything. We couldn’t stop talking about those sandwiches on the drive home! The chicha morada was perfect, too. It’s the first one I’ve had in Florida that wasn’t overly sweet, and you could actually taste that lovely hint of lime. We took four empanadas home and left on cloud nine. The bakery is very clean, and the staff have so much warmth and charisma. We can’t wait to make the drive again!“

“This literally might be the best acai I have ever had, and I have had A LOT. The dates and peanut butter are so good!! The owner and the girls that I always see are very kind. The Acai is so thick and stays frozen its delicious. The place itself is so cute, such a nice place for my lunch during the workday!! It is a tad pricey but sadly in this day and age what it not pricey.“

“I've loved Panera ever since we were in Kansas it's so relaxing, everything is delicious, you can stay as long as you want, and enjoy everything at your own pace, chatting and savoring the menu. And what I love most is that they have hot tea, which is really hard to find here since most places only offer coffee.“

“With this being a newer location i was a little scared to come in because the one on the corner before wasn’t that great, but i came in on Saturday and i was instantly greeted with a warming smile from the employee Kalena, she was great. I got my food and it was warm and delicious. I came in an hour before closing and everybody was still super nice. The girl Faith that was out in the dining room was super kind and took my plates from me when i was finished , and asked if there was anything else i needed. 100% will be coming back!“

“Biscoff latte & biscoff doughnut were soooo good! I don't like overly sweet so I got the latte with 1/2 sweetness and the doughnut was less sweet than I anticipated and very good.

“I absolutely love The Glass Knife, and have used it for years now as a “later night” spot for meeting friends, family, first dates, second dates, and even tenth dates as an extremely pretty to look at, comfortable place, with nice staff, good coffee, and excellent desserts.

There are tons of places to get drinks and have a nice romantic evening, or catch up with friends. There are not a lot of places where alcohol isn’t the main attraction, and while they do serve alcohol here, my mostly straight edge self loves this as an absolute top tier bar or pub alternative.“
