“This particular Nordstrom Bistro Café is phenomenal. Not only is the food consistently delicious, but the staff is among the kindest and most welcoming I’ve ever encountered in the service industry. And I’ve traveled the world.

When I visited last weekend, one of the hosts, Donna, immediately recognized me—even though my last visit was nearly six months before! She greeted my family warmly and even remembered the exact soup I liked. I was genuinely taken aback that someone who sees so many customers every day would remember me like that. It was incredibly flattering and speaks volumes about the level of care here. Donna is simply a gem.

Jermaine (“J”), who had also waited on us during a previous visit, greeted us with the same warmth and familiarity. He recalled elements from our previous conversation there and heartily asked about the rest of our family. It’s clear that the staff truly pays attention to their customers and takes pride in making people feel welcome.

Even our waitress that day, Maya, who was new to us, was absolutely kind, attentive, and professional in every way. She was ready to jump and assist us with anything we needed. Refills, extra sauce, to-go orders were addressed instantaneously.

Kudos to Nordstrom for hiring such exemplary people. I wish we could return this restaurant to Miami’s Dadeland Mall. Even though each visit requires a hefty 45-minute drive for us, experiences like this make visiting the Bistro Café a highlight for my family. Furthermore, being remembered as a customer means more than you might realize. Highly recommend this place in every single way!!!“

“I stumbled on this spot by accident while walking through the mall and I’m so glad I did. It’s one of those places you only find if you’re paying attention. No loud signs, no big crowd — just the smell of fresh pastries pulling you in.

The staff was super warm and welcoming, and even took the time to explain their most popular items. It felt like a small bakery tucked inside the mall chaos — calm, cozy, and actually personal.

“This was my first time visiting Rose Cafe & Restaurant, which recently expanded and rebranded with a full bar and dinner service, officially opening the new concept in October 2025. The space is absolutely beautiful ~ roses everywhere, elegant decor, and very Instagrammable from the moment you walk in. One thing that stood out, however, was a very strong scent sprayed in the hallway upon entry. My friend, who is sensitive to strong smells, felt sick afterward. It didn’t linger heavily at the table, but for anyone sensitive to fragrance, this could definitely be an issue. As for the food, our Eggs Benedict initially came out overcooked, but our server Jonathan A. handled it perfectly. He immediately took it back, asked the chef to remake it, and the second round was spot on. Great recovery and attentive service on his part. I ordered a hazelnut cappuccino, not realizing that cinnamon lettering would be added on top. I personally don’t tolerate cinnamon, so I removed the foam and didn’t say anything, but this might be something for management to consider ~ asking guests beforehand would be appreciated. Overall, the service was good, valet is offered upon arrival, and the ambiance is lovely. While it didn’t completely blow my mind, it’s still a beautiful spot with solid service. All things considered, I’d honestly give it 4 stars and would return, especially for the atmosphere.“

“If you want a no frills, simple, exceptionally well priced, and good spot for breakfast or lunch then THIS IS FOR YOU!
I’ve had enough paying $25 for two scrambled eggs on avocado toast. The family and I stumbled into this place (actually had to search for it because it’s in what looked like a closed office building) and we are happy we did. The place is kind of like a time capsule from the decor to the wait staff and the prices.
Reason for the 4 stars is that some of the stuff that doesn’t get much attention seemed a bit dirty, like the blinds.“

The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. I have been very lucky this have this great restaurant within walking distance. The waitress is always friendly and keeps everything moving smoothly. Your drink is never empty. “My brother has been raving about this place for years. Today my family and I finally went (don’t know what took us so long). Everything was AMAZING! The staff, the ambiance and of course the food. It’s a family owned restaurant that takes amazing pride in what they do and what they are putting out.
My son ordered a Mango Juice that came out like a smoothie, of course he only gave each of us 1 sip because it was that good.
We ordered 2 empanadas; the spinach and ham and cheese, both were out of this world. My son had a pizza that was served with fresh melted cheese and a thin crust. My mom ordered a chicken wrap that she is still talking about; the fresh veggies, toasted wrap and delicious fresh chicken. I had the chicken Milanese and my father had the steak Milanese. Both came on a delicious bread with fresh lettuce and tomato. The sandwiches are massive and definitely can be shared or saved for dinner, which we did. The chef came out, at my mom’s request so she can thank him and give him a hug. He was so appreciative and kind. If you drive past the Chevron, you are missing out. I know it sounds crazy to recommend a gas station for coffee, but Europa Coffee House is the real deal. Once you step inside, it’s a totally different vibe, cozy, clean, and smells like amazing espresso, not gasoline.
The highlights:
• Coffee: The Café con Leche is strong and creamy, way better than the big chains.
• Food: You HAVE to try the Europa Toasted Sandwich. It’s super crispy and melty. The bacon, egg, and cheese on an English muffin is also a solid, quick breakfast.
• Vibe: Surprisingly great spot to work! Good Wi-Fi, comfy seats, and not too loud.
• Bonus: They are super dog-friendly (they even gave my pup a treat!).
