“My husband and I have been waiting to eat here and it was definitely worth the wait. we had raw oyster that were delish he got frog legs and shrimp cocktail I got fried pork chops and the portions were perfect. Left full but no stuffed even took to go box. Kelly our waitress was very friendly and professional. Tammy came to table and met us you just dont get that in alot restaurants. we will definitely be back.“

“I was brought to this bar by a friend while I was visiting home from West Virginia, haven't been to Polk county in over 10 years and I must say after going to other bars in the area I was very happy to visit this one! “I lived in Lake Wales for over twenty years and I love Al’s Place the friendliest bar in town, remind me of the old tv show “Cheers “ when everyone knows your name. The beer is cold, the food delicious and they give you plenty. On your first trip there you will get initiated with the yardstick and become a member of the family group. My son and daughter got me back in Pennsylvania as I age to see that I have proper care, but promise me every so often the would bring me back to Lake Wales to visit all my old friend. Looking forward to February at when they celebrate the the holiday Mardi Gras and have a great time with all my old friends…..It’s a pleasure…Thank You.“
