“I was looking for a quick breakfast in a good setting. I stopped by a place a couple of miles down keys on Pine Island. People were in line at the door walked in and looked around and I saw four people get up from the bar and leave. They’re working hard, but can’t cope with the demand. I drove down the road and came up on the boardwalk restaurant. There was nobody in there. I ordered a good breakfast, which was excellent and very reasonably priced. Why stand in line when you come down here have some good chow and get on with your day in the keys. Thanks folks for the great start to the day!“
“Been at least 2 years since I last visited the Roster. I always enjoy a good surprise. My chicken wings were very good. However the teriyaki with garlic dipping sauce sent those wings into orbit. I ordered hot wings, but wanted a side order of teriyaki sauce to give it a try. Just glad I did. All I can say is Bingo.I also tried the fried picked chips. Ended up dipping them in the teriyaki heaven sauce.Service was great, an I will be back in the morning to try their shrimp and grits. Thanks Big Pine Roster, y'all rocked it tonight.“
“Where else can you have dinner in a place that has what seems like a million one dollar bills taped or stapled to the walls and ceiling? No where but the No Name Pub. This restaurant is becoming famous for its unusual decor and its fabulous pizza. Staff are wonderful. Good selection of beer and wine. Outdoor area for eating (I did not check it out). A mini store where you can buy t shirts inside. It's a good thing we have GPS or else no one would find it but the locals. Located way out of the way, which is why they have the sign that says "You found us", when you finally get there.“
“Dinner was fabulous! They don’t take reservations, but be sure to get on the waitlist before you go. The place is hopping. The service was very quick but we didn’t feel rushed. We had conch, snapper, and Mexican corn dip and all were superb.“
“Tonight, we were greeted by Ian. A long-time bartender. He hasn't seen us since last season. He remembers our name and drinks. He is fantastic and always makes us feel right at home. Nice to see him again! We started our meal with Blue Point Oysters! Fantastic! Hubby had the Wahoo and Tater Tots. It was on Catch if the day special! He said it was delicious! I had a Philly cheese quesadilla. Really good! I also had Cauliflower Au Gratin, delicious! The Wine and Alcolhol selection is subpurb! Music was pleasant , good sound! I would like to give a shot out to Lynn Bell. "The new Bar chairs are perfect! Thank You!!“
“I decided to post something on this picture because I enjoy this picture very much when I eat breakfast at the Galley Grill I faced this I like to sit on the counter. I usually do my paperwork there in front of the girls is interesting. I work all day in the restaurant business and all I do is communicate with Hospitality industry individuals and here I am first thing in the morning at the Galley grill Talking to Katie and Dorothy, Megan and Shannon of course there’s always Jessica and Nancy my friend. Jean works in the kitchen and I have a new friend in my life. His name is Chad. He’s amazing so smart I like this place a lot they do a really really good job I don’t usually say that about a lot of places, but I’ve been in this store now for a couple years. I think I know something that’s not running right these guys are all in the clean good operation you can feel safe handling the food properly the price valued and competitive in the area the employees live locally and do business in the local area, I absolutely love this place. I can’t say it more than that other than they just started doing dinners that’s a whole process and itself it’s a lot of work to execute something like that. I had dinner there tonight. It was absolutely delicious. I look forward to having dinner there again. I met a colleague we talked a little business talked a little personal it was a nice meeting place in the Lower Keys . I felt very comfortable. Actually, I felt a little too comfortable. I had to do a couple apologies cause I was a little too vulgar, but that being done if you have an opportunity to try dinner at the Galley Grill do it you won’t regret it, Joey Dee, Florida Keys ciao “
“What a nice surprise, a delightful Cuban kitchen in a strip mall with absolutely delicious food and super friendly people working there. The atmosphere is nothing special but the food certainly makes up for it. If they're busy, you have to order at the register, otherwise they'll greet you at the table. They have a very big lunch crowd.“
