Waiter refused to get me a conch chowder before the entree and refused to split my wife’s dinner into two plates one for her and my child. 45 minutes got my first drink. Food came out after 1 and a half hours after arriving. Its sad because the food is great but the service is lacking.*** First visit ***Slight delay of about 10-15 minutes to see the waiter. We got in without a reservation without a wait. Waiter was nice and attentive. I had the Angel hair with meat sauce which had great portions and flavor.“
“We had a surprising great night at Havana Jack’s. Why surprised? There were recently some poor reviews. Whatever issues Havana Jack’s had, they were corrected.Great service. I met the new manager. Heather has it under control. The hostess, server (Lilly) and the runner were friendly and responsive.The atmosphere and music were great. Looking forward to going back in time for sunset this week.“

“One of my favorite places. We come regularly. The building has that old Florida look and vibe. The burnt ends are a favorite starter. If you like seafood you have to try the fish and chips. We have actually seen them get a pitcher of beer to make the beer batter. They have the coolest selection of craft beers and ciders. In the summertime, this place is a must because it Is one of the few places with air conditioning. We love this place!“

“Went there with friends for a late lunch, Everyone talks about how good their fries are so we ordered some! Big basket of fries, easily shared by two! Tuna Poke Bowl was delicious, I highly recommend! Service was good as well! They don’t serve liquor, just beer and wine. Nice views of the water and an active boat channel!“

“Visiting from out of state for vacation. Read really good reviews and decided to give this place a try. Definitely want to make reservations, we got there at 5:00 and they were full at 5:20. I got the spaghetti marinara and my wife got the manicotti. Both were very good! One of the best red sauce we have had. Service was very quick and friendly. Will come back again.“

“This place was in walking distance of our rental so we were here three different nights! Their pizzas a really good, the Cajun shrimp pasta was delicious, the surf and turf was fantastic, and even the chicken wings were good. The key lime pie was a perfect ending!“
“I stopped in for a quick drink while my family was taking a tour at the nearby turtle hospital. The bar and the adjacent area overlooking the ocean/gulf was beautiful. My bartender, Jacklyn was really nice and friendly. I saw her answer multiple people’s questions about the resort and things to see and do in and around Marathon, Florida. Great beautiful relaxing place for an afternoon libation and if you’re lucky maybe Jacklyn will be on duty.“

“Always a great time at the Monkey. We own a house nearby so whenever we are in town we grab 1 or 10 drinks there. Rodney and the other bartenders always do us right. It’s a local hangout so you get to meet the real people of Marathon and not el touristos. The prices are extremely reasonable - they won’t empty your wallet- and they fire up the grill and you can get Smashburgers and hot dogs and brats and sausage & peppers. Highly recommended.“

“This small local spot is a must for breakfast or lunch which they serve both all day. The food was amazing. Had a Ruben sandwich and was delicious, corned beef and kraut was fresh along with bread. Wife and kids had breakfast meals cooked fresh of the grill and was by far any disappointment.“

We brought our own catch and the chef prepared it the way they thought was most suitable for that particular fish and it was so yummy.They also have the most delicious conch fritters we got to taste this time on the island. Hubby said Ramon was a good bartender but then again they all are.Vegetarian options: There is no vegan options except the impossible burger sold at the outside bar which was very goodDietary restrictions: Husband is vegan and has 2 severe food allergies and the hotel is very accommodating“

“Our rental included membership to The Cabana Club. As long as you follow all the rules it's a great time.They are posted everywhere. All the wait staff were very friendly and helpful.Full bar and food menu. Can get very crowded. There's a large pool and they also have a small beach area. Other than the woman that greets you with all the rules it's a fun place.She could be a little nicer. She did get friendlier as the week went by. Very clean restrooms for the volume of people in a day.“
