Andres and Tammy were so patient with me (I was all over the place-trying to plan everything in less than 2 weeks). They really helped to guide me through the whole process and the menu. My guests were raving about the food all night (and still are). To quote multiple people…”Those were the best fish tacos/Those were the best Lamb lollipops-I have ever had!” The Food Guy staff were professional and engaging with my guests. My only regret is that I did not order more!!! I keep looking at their FB and IG (drooling) and mentally choosing the items I want for the next party. “We had such a magical weekend with our wedding at the Addison. We could not be more grateful for our WONDERFUL coordinator, Heather. As a LGBTQIA couple, we were nervous with how our love would be represented at our wedding venue but Heather and the Addison went above and beyond to make sure we felt accepted and supported. Another HUGE shoutout to Aliya and Jen who were with us the ENTIRE night making sure we had everything we needed. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous and Heather made sure all of our special touches were showcased throughout the event. B'nai Torah is a beautiful full-service venue and it was a wonderful experience to see my first event through on the property. Jack and Neil, you both were so professional and I felt really supported. We did a great job troubleshooting. The couple commented to me that they couldn't believe a single thing didn't go wrong during their wedding. And you have to laugh, because that's the goal! Even when something happens behind the scenes that was unexpected, or we're working through an issue, the couple is totally unaware and just enjoying their wedding like the guest of honors that they are. “My favorite Birria Quesadilla in the area. Always delicious, juicy, and they’re very generous with the consumé. My husband loves their tacos. I highly suggest the California burrito with steak. It’s absolutely phenomenal. They recently stared doing smash burgers and holy mother of knocked it out the park! Wish they had longer hours, but it’s easy to order ahead and just pick it up. There’s also a cute seating area nearby, some picnic tables and lights. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area. The kids meals are perfect, my kids are all burritos children. Their guacamole is flavorful and fresh. Their salsas are also very well seasoned and the red is the perfect spice level. 10/10 recommend.“

“My 70th birthday party was an intimate affair at my community’s private cafe, but from the first call with Robert Stanfield at Potions in Motion, I was made to feel as important as someone who was planning a large gala at a five-star hotel. Every detail mattered to him. The theme. The décor and vibe… my vision. He asked so many great questions though I hadn’t given much thought to any of that.

Say no more. Robert offered many inspired suggestions and really cared about the outcome. Then he made a recommendation to use a linen rental company he trusted AND a talented DJ who also performed live musical accompaniment (she was a joy to work with).

But what really blew me away were the menu options. I was stunned by the huge variety of choices and the way they all sounded so delectable. How could I possibly choose? Over the next few months, we worked together to create the perfect menu and navigated the other details, large and small.

Honestly, I felt so seen and heard, even when I questioned some of Robert’s recommendations. He is the penultimate voice of experience who knows every aspect of party planning and I was wise to follow his lead.

Then on the day of he and his stellar crew showed up on time and in good spirits, making it easy for me to relax knowing that the setup would be perfect.

During the evening, out came the plentiful food offerings- perfectly paced, all with eye appeal and enough to go around with seconds. Weeks later my guests are still raving about the delicious appetizers, exciting entrees and a smorgasbord of desserts that satisfied every possible craving. Plus, they were thrilled by the bartender who served my favorite cocktails alongside their favorite drinks.

Truly the party was beyond my dreams, and I will be ever grateful to Robert and his A Team for making the experience so memorable.

Sam and his staff we're incredibly easy to communicate with, organized a decadent meal with 8 appetizers, a choice of 2 entrees, and a delicious dessert.
