“Douglas K Catering did my wedding in March 2024. Food for 65 people. We did a buffet of about 6 small plate items, and 1 one main dish, all in chafing dishes. It was delicious and more affordable than any other caterer I found. The staff was great, both in ordering everything, and in delivering to the event venue and staffing it with 2 very professional servers. We were so happy with everything they did! And the chicken and waffles dish was the Best!!“

“Yesterday, 2-11-2021, we attended a Broker's event for a new construction development on the beach in Delray Beach, Florida. We have never heard of this catering company before but the food looked delicious. My husband and I tried everything on the menu...several times! The display of food was gorgeous and mouthwatering. They had exquisite and delectable food: mini lobster rolls (yes, real lobster!), shrimp cocktail, ceviche, pasta with pesto sauce, elegant ham, roast beef, and turkey croissants, quinoa with raspberries and orange (I think, not sure, but delish), homemade ice cream, key lime pie dessert, and much more. The food was soooooo good and the presentation super cute. The staff was very friendly and diligent, but what impressed us the most, was that the owner of the catering company, "Hollywood", was going around the party meeting the attendees to make sure everything was ok with the food and everyone was happy with it. We were telling him how delicious the food was and my husband mentioned the mini lobster rolls. A lady that we know that was chatting with us heard mini lobster rolls, and said that she did not try one yet. Well, Hollywood made a call to his staff, and within 2 minutes his staff brought a whole tray full of mini lobster rolls to our chairs. Telling you that this man knows about customer service is an understatement. Wow! What service. Finding a catering company that has delicious food is one thing, but finding the whole package, were the staff is awesome, AND the owner hands on and on top of things so that attendees are super happy is a completely different thing. “My favorite Birria Quesadilla in the area. Always delicious, juicy, and they’re very generous with the consumé. My husband loves their tacos. I highly suggest the California burrito with steak. It’s absolutely phenomenal. They recently stared doing smash burgers and holy mother of knocked it out the park! Wish they had longer hours, but it’s easy to order ahead and just pick it up. There’s also a cute seating area nearby, some picnic tables and lights. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area. The kids meals are perfect, my kids are all burritos children. Their guacamole is flavorful and fresh. Their salsas are also very well seasoned and the red is the perfect spice level. 10/10 recommend.“

“My 70th birthday party was an intimate affair at my community’s private cafe, but from the first call with Robert Stanfield at Potions in Motion, I was made to feel as important as someone who was planning a large gala at a five-star hotel. Every detail mattered to him. The theme. The décor and vibe… my vision. He asked so many great questions though I hadn’t given much thought to any of that.

Say no more. Robert offered many inspired suggestions and really cared about the outcome. Then he made a recommendation to use a linen rental company he trusted AND a talented DJ who also performed live musical accompaniment (she was a joy to work with).

But what really blew me away were the menu options. I was stunned by the huge variety of choices and the way they all sounded so delectable. How could I possibly choose? Over the next few months, we worked together to create the perfect menu and navigated the other details, large and small.

Honestly, I felt so seen and heard, even when I questioned some of Robert’s recommendations. He is the penultimate voice of experience who knows every aspect of party planning and I was wise to follow his lead.

Then on the day of he and his stellar crew showed up on time and in good spirits, making it easy for me to relax knowing that the setup would be perfect.

During the evening, out came the plentiful food offerings- perfectly paced, all with eye appeal and enough to go around with seconds. Weeks later my guests are still raving about the delicious appetizers, exciting entrees and a smorgasbord of desserts that satisfied every possible craving. Plus, they were thrilled by the bartender who served my favorite cocktails alongside their favorite drinks.

Truly the party was beyond my dreams, and I will be ever grateful to Robert and his A Team for making the experience so memorable.

I opted for the gluten free crust, which I was happy to discover was a cauliflower crust. many places.use the udi's GF crust, which is ok, but not great. The crust they use here was lovely. I would definitely get the chicken marsala pizza again, but they have so many different and unique options I would have to try others first. I also had their pasta fagioli, which was the best I've had in a very long time. The flavor was complex and delicious. a hidden treat for those that are gluten free, the soup is made in houe and the pasta is not added until it is time to serve. ordering without pasta, it is gluten free. The owners happened to be there when we stopped in. They were super friendly and very helpful in addressing my dietary restrictions.
