“Food is excellent, no complaints there. It was a bit busy so we sat in the corner near the lazy river where we found a spot. I had the cork screw up for a hour and nobody came to take my order. Went and ordered at the bar and got it there. Tried again later and same ordeal. They should make laps every so often around all the guest in my opinion. Food is excellent and the atmosphere is great so I think it’s still worth a four star. Will circle back at the end of vacation.“

We enjoyed the southern-themed menu, from corn bread & molasses butter to the key lime pie dessert. Our portions were tasty & plentiful. Service was polite & efficient. “We had driven past this retro-style eatery several times, and we’d always been impressed by the vintage diner silver bullet exterior. So we checked out the menu online and decided it was time for a visit. The menu is overwhelming in its complexity- but the excellent front of house servers know all the combinations, and there’s no rush to order while you consider all the delicious options. We started with crispy Dill Pickle Fries and Greek Salad, which were perfect appetisers, followed by Mel’s Key Lime Haddock topped with mushrooms & chopped tomatoes, finished with a key lime hollandaise sauce served with a salad with blue cheese dressing, and Fire Grilled Chicken with avocado, tomatoes, and jack cheese topped with jalapeño ranch dressing served with Mel’s fresh steamed spinach and blue cheese with rice. We were filled to the brim, but couldn’t resist the Coconut Mile High Pie which was as huge as it sounds. A carry home box was definitely required!“

“I have been hearing about this place for a while. Finally had some down time and was enjoying a day with my wife just out doing nothing in particular. We decided to go and see for ourselves. Let me tell you they DID NOT disappoint at all. The server was great sorry don't remember her name. And the food holy schykees it was phenomenal. Started out with the Tot Bombs I believe is what they are called. The remoulade sauce was delicious and perfectly seasoned. I had the grouper basket and she had the seafood basket. The grouper was fresh and lightly breaded and cooked to PERFECTION. The seafood basket had a very healthy portion of Grouper.. Scallops... And shrimp all perfectly prepared. We will definitely be going back again and again and.... Well you get the point“
