Food, service, and outdoor seating were great! We went back a week later it was so good! Then Ian came! We haven't been over there yet as we are staying out of the way of all the work going on.

I want to say first that I stayed next door to this restaurant and it was access. If the food wasn’t good, I would say so. I come down most years around the 2nd or third week in September and many times they are closed for the season. I’m glad they were open this year. Lunch was great as usual at Big Hickory! My wife and I went off-season during the week and had no wait. We opted to eat indoors since it was very hot outside. Unfortunately their air conditioning is not up to par as it was very hot inside also but better than outside. This time we tried the spicy Krab rolls (imitation crab meat) and Caprese salad.
