“My daughter & I were heading home from a trip to Ft. Lauderdale & she requested a bagel brunch on the way back. We decided to stop in Boynton Beach. I ordered a cheese omelette with an everything bagel with a shmear and sliced tomatoes. The omelette was light & fluffy, the sliced tomatoes generous, & the bagel & shmear delish. My daughter ordered a onion bagel with bacon, sausage, ham, & american cheese which she gave a thumbs up. The beverages were meh. I tried the real New York Egg Cream & it was disgusting. The vanilla, caramel, & Kahlua with French vanilla cream and the coffee ice cubes was much better. My daughter tried the iced coffee first and then opted for the iced tea liking the latter much better. Overall good. Would stop again if passing through or at another location.“

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Marshawn at Einstein Bros. Bagels in Boynton Beach for his outstanding attitude, work ethic, and genuine kindness.

On October 5, I stopped in around 7 AM and immediately noticed how positive, welcoming, and attentive Marshawn was to every customer who walked through the door.

What I didn’t realize at first was that he was running the entire store by himself! The only reason I even knew they were short-staffed was because I asked. He never complained, never made excuses, and never once allowed the situation to affect how he treated his customers.

Think about that for a moment. He could have been frustrated, overwhelmed, or visibly upset that he was left handling everything alone. And quite frankly, most people would have understood. Instead, Marshawn chose positivity, professionalism, and kindness.

That says more about someone’s character than any job description or performance review ever could.

What impressed me most wasn’t simply that he was working hard. It was that he made a conscious effort to ensure every customer still had a positive experience, despite the circumstances. He didn’t make his staffing challenge anyone else’s problem.

Employees like Marshawn are the ones who make customers want to return. You can teach someone how to make a bagel or operate a register, but you cannot teach that level of personal accountability, genuine positivity, and pride in what you do.

I sincerely hope Einstein Bros. Bagels’ management and corporate leadership recognize Marshawn. Employees who show up with this kind of attitude, especially when things aren’t going their way, deserve to be celebrated.

Marshawn, thank you for being such a bright spot in my morning. Your positivity, kindness, and work ethic did not go unnoticed. You are a tremendous asset to your team, and I hope your leadership knows it!“

Mother’s shivah. Nancy couldn’t have been nicer. She helped me figure out exactly how much food I should order and didn’t try to over sell me stuff just to make another dollar. The food was delivered exactly as expected, delicious, and there was plenty of it.“

“I have been going here for years. I think this is the best deli around. One time they messed up a delivery and the manager drove to my house to make it right. You do not get that type of service in Florida. I hope they keep these guys around.“

“Got an everything bagel with cream cheese. Plenty of cream cheese and lots of seasoning on the bagel for a reasonable price. It wasn't busy when I went so the service was quick. There is plenty of seating if you want to eat in.

I don't drink coffee myself but I think coffee lovers would like this place. There are multiple flavors of iced coffee and coffee ice cubes. They have a few flavored syrups and flavored creamers.“

“I had never been to Strathmore’s before, but it was such a great experience. The staff was all very friendly and helped me with my order having never been there before. The Lox, Creamcheese, Onion, Tomato was absolutely PHENOMENAL! The egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was also very good. Overall a great experience, my family and I will definitely be back!!!“

“The lady from Brazil behind the counter was very warm and made us feel welcome. The NOVA bagel sandwich with sliced smoked salmon was delicious and coffee was good and FUERTE ( strong) not wimpy. Very calm courtyard feel around the corner from the beach access.“

“I tried this place with my family when we moved back to FL 3 years ago. We got breakfast sandwiches that were awful. We never returned. I had a client insist on having her consult with me at the Port Saint Lucie location. Her food looked and smelled amazing. She kept telling me how it is one of her favorite places. I decided to give it a try again. I’m very picky about underproofed, overly dense bagels and also dislike overly soft bagels that might as well be a hamburger bun with a hole in the middle. So far their everything bagel with whipped cream cheese is perfection. I buy A LOT of bagels from various places from local owned shops for events for my job. I buy around 2,000+ of bagels and cream cheese a year (neighborhood/clubhouses choose the shop). I think I’ll keep coming back here when I actually want to enjoy what I’m eating.“

I went to this place years ago and was disgusted with the cleanliness. But it is totally different now. Try it out, you'll be surprised!!“
