“We came tonight and were hoping to sit outside cause it was such a beautiful night but they stopped seating at 8 :( had to sit inside and it was VERY loud. Our server was very sweet and did an amazing job. We ordered the wrangler burrito and steak quesadilla. We both really enjoyed the rice and the steak was amazing. I added grilled onions and peppers to my quesadilla and they tasted like they weren’t cooked but for maybe 2 seconds, once I picked those out it was great. I love sauces so I tried their chipotle aioli and jalapeño ranch, both were amazing. We’ll definitely come back hopefully next time we can catch it when we can be outside“

“Steak tacos are a different style. The meat is well-done, flavorful, and almost flaky. It's full of flavor, no fat balls, and the corn tortillas are perfect. Cilantro and chopped onions are on-point. The salsa verde and rojo are perfect. They also give you grilled onions and lime. These tacos are incredibly flavorful with no weird crap in them.“

“This small place in a strip mall serves good food fast. Their speciality is BBQ chicken and it is flavorful and a great value for the money. When you order, the food comes out super quick. We opted for the 6 piece with rice and charro beans, which comes with at least 10 fresh tortillas. Don’t expect heavy cheese or sauces- this is all about the chicken. I imagine it could be dry depending on when it was cooked, but what we had was flavorful and juicy. Served with a smile and in a small rating area. Definitely worth the trip to check them out.“

“Mr. Tequila’s Authentic Mexican Restaurant on Cortez Road is absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch. The food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of authentic Mexican flavor. Every bite was amazing, and it’s easy to see why this place is such a local favorite.

What truly made our visit exceptional was our server, Anita. She was friendly, attentive, professional, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. Anita checked on us regularly, made sure our drinks stayed full, and provided some of the best service we’ve had in a long time.

“The barbacoa was a little dry, which surprised me. The pastor was very flavorful, if a bit greasy. The homemade salsas were both outstanding: creamy and flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy. Quick service, mostly friendly. Relaxed, casual atmosphere but a fairly large covered seating area is a great thing to have down in Florida.“

“The popusa was good, the quesadilla too but the tacos weren’t good. The meat didn’t look good and didn’t taste good. My husband try one. He tried but couldn’t eat it all. We told one waitress and she didn’t say anything, she sat down to eat. “Just visiting this week from up North and I was looking for a Mexican place for lunch that had good vegetarian options. I was very pleased to see that they offered tempeh as one of the protein choices. The staff was very kind and took great care making the food. I ordered a burrito and they made the tortilla in a tortilla press which was outstanding. I also ordered the chips with a side of guacamole and they made the chips right in front of us. Truly one of the best burritos I've ever had.“
