“I’ve been here so many times I’ve honestly lost count. This is quite literally the best quick serve Chinese restaurant in the area. Their General TSO chicken is amazing and so is their sushi. What really sets this place apart from the rest is the freshness and quality of the chicken they use. The chicken pieces are huge and you can tell it’s totally fresh and not frozen. If you frequently do take out Chinese food and haven’t tried this place then you’re in for a treat. Just about every other take out Chinese restaurant seems to use the same type of chicken - excess breading, small pieces, rock hard crunchiness, etc. The Rice Bowl is truly a breath of fresh air - it’s always fantastic well cooked and you always get a full piece of chicken. Just the right amount of breading and you never feel like you’re biting into a solid piece of breading. Keep up the good work and don’t change a thing! :-)“

“I recently visited Wicked Awesome Ice Cream in Lander and had a really positive experience overall. The space itself is charming — I loved the dedicated toy area for kids and the soft jazz/classical music playing in the background made it feel upscale yet comfortable. The staff were friendly and the flavors were imaginative and well-done; you can tell they put care into what they’re serving.

My only caveat is that I felt the price was a bit high for the quantity of ice cream I received. It didn’t quite match my expectations in terms of portion size for the cost. If that were a little more generous I would absolutely rate it a full five stars.

In sum: a fun, unique ice-cream outing — great ambiance and service — just slightly pricey for the amount served. I’d happily go back, especially if they decide to bump up the portion a touch.“

“I drive all the way to this place from Ellenton, I go to the gym next door so it’s a bit of a destination spot but it is what I have been doing for years now.. although recently I have only been coming during the week days when Cannon is working and I will touch on why.

This place has come a long way, the new owners are really making the place feel more welcoming and like a place to hangout and get some work down or after a workout instead of a kick in and out.. the store is warm and inviting, great music always playing and they’re starting to carry better and better product. I really really enjoy the new vibe and Cannon the day time employee, soo much so I won’t come after he’s not working because the smoothies and the employees just dont have the same personality and electric energy as Cannon who remembers me, my order, even learned to swap in my chia seed and milk substitute after my first order.. he’s soo friendly and sweet it feels wrong if he isn’t there during my now (admittedly) daily ritual the shakes just come out wrong entirely or watery. He’s super honest and personable, prideful in his work.. I can’t ever tell if he’s flirting or if he’s just this intimate personable surf dude who’s high on life but he’s always happy to see me, I genuinely appreciate his talks he’s very very well educated and prevents any extra fruit syrups or fad like products he thinks sketchy or useless going into my drink and helped me with my diet upon finding out I was going fully vegan. I popped in this Saturday on a whim and it just wasn’t the same, my smoothie came out watery, the vibe was off, I think they used non vegan, and the place seemed much more stern and lacked his charm, music taste, and presence speaking to customers like family and doing it all with ease. I would love to change to five out of five but the weekend crew and night just isn’t the same, 5 stars for Cannon’s alchemy alone! I’ll be back to get my shake always and my daily philosophical chat and pick me up.“

“The overall service use to be amazing at this Olive Garden. We have come here several times over the years and this is the worst front staff I’ve ever experienced. I checked in and was told it would be a 15 minute wait and told them that I had people coming but instead of seating us after 25 minutes passed I came up to ask the pregnant hostess if they were waiting for my party or something because we’ve been waiting and she was like oh yeah yeah we are without so much as looking at me or apologizing for the wait. There were several of them up there that were just laughing and joking around unprofessionally and the pregnant hostess was eating up there talking with the other ladies at the podium while they ignored us. She disappeared completely for several minutes and after 30 minutes I asked a girl who showed up if we were going to be seated because my party was waiting. She said she would check because she just got there. She went to find the pregnant hostess and told her we were waiting 30 minutes and my daughter overheard her denying it. I’m just not used to that at any restaurant. If you tell me 15 minutes and it’s not busy in there then we have better be seated whether we are waiting for people to arrive or not. It put me in such a terrible mood that I wanted to leave but thankfully our waiter came right away and was amazing. He was very attentive and kind and I felt he deserved a good tip. What made me write this review was when we left there were a gaggle of women at the front with the pregnant hostess and we all noticed that they just stared at us and didn’t say the usual thank you have a good night. No one bothered to politely open the door like they have always done for us in the past. You just knew that they we’re talking bad about you. If this is what this Olive Garden restaurant is turning into then I have to stop coming. I don’t know what’s up with those women but this is their place of work not a place to gossip and bullshit about their life or talk shit about their paying customers who are there to be treated with some measure of respect and kindness when they are out with their family for dinner. I hope a manager sees this review and addresses this issue of plain rudeness. We are also not white and so obviously white people were being treated better and seated immediately. By the way, our pregnant hostess was black but for some reason thinks it’s ok to be rude to us. If this ever happens to us again, a complaint will definitely be filed to your corporate management or the BBB. I will not tolerate this behavior in front of my family.“
