Every customer that walks into his store should be treated with good customer service & a friendly atmosphere to everyone. I understand that not everything is perfect all the time but as front line employee, immediate contact with customers should be your best! This brings back customers because they enjoy not only the food/coffee but also the way they are treated/taking care of when they walk into the store. The atmosphere is also a key! “This Cafe was so good that we visited it twice during our week on Sanibel Island! The breakfasts were delicious, and the lunch menus were, too! (Breakfast is available all day…to 2 pm!) Everyone from the servers to the cooks to the checkout people were super-friendly. The servings are generous and the tables are unique objects of art, having designs of shells under glass. I also picked up a beautiful handmade pottery mug from a resident artist at the checkout!“

“A few of our favorite foods(and our usual s)are the Tony Soprano, buffalo chicken wrap, BLT, Club sandwich, fries(the best), coleslaw, quesadilla. Antipasto(huge), chili and fried grouper fingers. Oh, and don't forget the ice cold draft beer. We are greeted with friendliness, the service is great, prices are very reasonable and the owner's make their rounds and talk with you. “My friends and I have been coming to Sanibel for 24 years. This year was hard for me personally. Recently diagnosed with Alpha Gal a severe allergy to many things including meat dairy eggs and others. Already was allergic to gluten. I was afraid I wouldn't have food options on the island until I found The Sanibel Sprout. Their coconut bacon BLT saved my life and I went there 5 out of 7 days. The ladies there are amazing and they even have Bible verses painted on shells you can buy. I would highly recommend and just wanted to say thank you for taking such good care of me!“

“Found this place by accident, and will definitely be back. Great service and even better food. The juices were unique and refreshing, and the menu had something for everyone in my family. Being our first time they offered us some of their Holey Donuts which were a big hit. Everyone enjoyed their breakfasts, but the holiday special Double Bacon Parmesan Hash was the star. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!“

“We arrived about 45minutes before closing + they (about 3 staff members) were doing their clean up. We said we’d hurry and sit outside. They were so kind and reminded us that they didn’t close until 2 and that we were more than welcome to stay inside if we wanted to. They even told us about the park across the street, as we were visiting with young kiddos. Very friendly staff, welcoming environment, + their cold brew with oat milk was absolutely delicious!! Our 7-year daughter got a smoothie + ? from her as well. Thanks!!“

“We had dinner here for our family and group of 11 people. The hostess who sat our group needs some training as she wasn’t friendly and didn’t bring enough silverware or menus. We had to go back up front to ask for 6 more menus even though all 11 of us sat down together and were brought to the tablet by that hostess. They do allow you to order sushi from the Shima sushi restaurant which is nice if you don’t want anything from the cafe menu. It is unfortunate that you can’t get any of the Hibachi from Shima which is about 30 feet from Cafe, unless you go and sit at Shima. They should fix that as Shima doesn’t allow for more than 8 people to a table so it doesn’t work for large groups as you have to be split up. And they don’t let you get any hibachi from there to be sent over to Cafe. Our server for Cafe was nice he was just very busy as being the only one working that night so he was not able to give us as much attention as we need. The food from Cafe was fine, nothing to rave about and really mention. We just wanted to try this place since we were staying there on property and didn’t feel like driving that night. We wouldn’t go back to this place as there are better options. It’s just ok and that’s about it.“

“i ordered an iced caramel macchiato and a slice of tiramisu cake. both were absolutely delicious and was the best tiramisu i ever had. neither of my items were overbearingly sweet, which i loved. i often have a hard time finding tiramisu that isn’t too sweet, the same with a caramel macchiato. i will definitely be back when i am around the ft myers area!“
