Chef Matthew even stopped by our table to check in, which made the experience feel personal and special. “This place is in a beautiful location. The food was good, but I felt for the price was a little underwhelming. My wife said her steak and lobster were perfect, mine was a little tougher. I was upset by a minor server issue. Shockingly to me they brought my son and I our food and placed it in front of us while my wife and daughter were sitting without food. I thought a place presenting this level of class would serve ladies first. Luckily the food was ready, the wait staff (not our waitress) just had to go back and get it in a second trip from the kitchen. I also felt the charcuterie board was interesting but not worth the associated price for this diner. My daughter got the King Crab Leg appetizer that was $49 - it was ONE leg. It was large... it was good... I just wish she got a cluster, not one singular leg. Especially when it lists a half pound of steamed crab legs.“

It is expensive, don’t get me wrong, even with the dining plan it’s 2 credits, but this restaurant delivered. \nThe staff was very professional and definitely up to the task to deliver service matching the price level. We were seated at a different table without a fuzz when we didn’t appreciate the proximity to the air conditioner outlets at the first table. It was great that this was possible. At the table the waitstaff was very accommodating and friendly. Really great!\nThe food was delicious! Although the portion size was on the smaller side when someone is paying the price on the menu. They’re large enough to not leave hungry, but could be slightly bigger. They’re large enough desserts on the other hand were perfect portion size wise and even for the price on the menu ok. \nAll in all I would come back here any day and we were very, very happy with what we got here. “In my opinion, this Avatar themed restaurant is one of the nicest, & coolest themed, quick service restaurants out of all of the parks with the tastiest & most creative food options. I’m a pescatarian, so sometimes it gets hard trying to find good food options in the parks but this restaurant has something for everyone, & the food is actually good. I got the ocean moon bowl, which is the perfect mix of light & refreshing after walking around so much, but still hearty enough to keep you full, to do so more walking.“

“Highball & Harvest - Orlando - 4.5 Stars "If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst forth at once in the sky, that would be like the splendor." -- Gita Highball & Harvest is a restaurant inside the Ritz Carlton Hotel. The Ritz works very hard to deliver an amazing overall experience whether in lodging or in dining. While I did not stay at the hotel itself, the opulence that surrounds you upon entering the restaurant is sumptuous. You have to take a circuitous route to get to this eatery but once seated you have great views of lush flora and fauna that are carefully manicured. The attention to detail is astounding. The only downside to this spot is that the open air nature of this area caused sound to reverberate. Normally, this is not a big deal, but there was a gaggle of men hard-pitching what sounded like a Ponzi-like scheme to some young adults nearby. I tried to ignore them, but the leader of the pitch had a bellowing voice that carried throughout the place. He looked and sounded just like Marty Funkhouser from "Curb Your Enthusiasm." It was hard to avert my eyes because he apparently had obtained hair transplants years ago and did not have the foresight to consider future baldness. So he had perfect rows of wispy red hair on his head, a complete ring of baldness, and then more hair. Anyway, while this is a major digression from the point it was hilarious to watch and listen. I didn't need to stick my head in my phone for entertainment. Now, back to my culinary experience. Highball & Harvest has, like all modern American restaurants, a craft drink menu. A highball is another name for cocktail, which was big in usage at the turn of the last century. I chose to imbibe and picked the Industrialist from the menu. This consisted of Woodford Reserve double bourbon, Creme de' Menthe, and Fernet Branca. How they came up with this combination is beyond me but WOW! - it works. I ordered three sides instead of a full meal this time, choosing brussel sprouts with sherry-maple gastrique, Jimmy Red's goat cheese grits, and red cabbage deviled eggs. At first I was worried about the maple gastrique but my worry was for naught. The maple was barely noticeable but the sugars gave a potent punch on the finish. Now, as far as cheese grits go, I will eat them whenever they're on the menu. These Jimmy Red's had so much wonderful cheese I almost want to call it cheese with grits - truly amazing. Finally the deviled eggs: The chef who designed these eggs should get national recognition. The filling was smooth and creamy. The red cabbage finish topped with the pumpernickel crouton is the kind of crisp, clean, simple dish I so enjoy. I can't say enough good things about Highball & Harvest. Their dishes are simple, yet complex, and contain the right balance of flavors with recipes that are outside of the proverbial box. We were at The Poly to catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the beach and thought it would be great to enjoy a treat whilst we catch the show.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and made the experience very lovely.

We got a twist (vanilla and pineapple) along with a seasonal offering of Lime. These were very good portions!

The dole whip was so good - not sure if the fireworks show made this role whip more magical, but there was something that made this experience special. I highly recommend doing this for your future trip!

“Always a good time going to David's Club for dinner, no matter the occasion. Local resident who does get there a few times each year. First time for Thanksgiving. It did not disappoint. “They provide quick customer service. I midday enjoy eating in the area surrounded by trees. They make some unique items. Their night blossom nonalcoholic specialty drink is beautiful and refreshing. The pongu lumpia is simply unique with a nice filling inside a slight crunchy shell for a nice side snack. I wish to revisit and order again. I appreciate how they nicely complement the surrounding atmosphere through a different touch of some food.
