“Refreshingly low-key, authentic bar. Too many places in Cocoa Beach have you paying higher prices for unnecessary upscale decor and finishings. You won't find that here. And as a bonus they had a great live band playing punk rock classics (brain eaters).“

“Stopped in from our cruise stop and had an amazing experience at this bar. They allowed our husbands to smoke their cigars in their outside area. They also had a great band! Tiffany was the best bartender, remembered us and our order each visit, was friendly and funny! Can’t wait to return! Thank you for making our trip enjoyable!“

“Omggggg this food. These drinks. The service. All top notch. Some of the absolute best I’ve had. Not just in Cocoa. The drinks were strong and tasty, the food was fresh and absolutely delicious. We had the Caribbean jerk wings and the chile lime fries. The service (Louis) was excellent and friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for a great experience here.“

“Not a single disappointment! About 90 degrees out a little breeze so Visited coca beach for just a quick minute, walked up the ramp and spotted the daiquiri bar. The staff was so polite and funny. We ordered two 30oz frozen daiquiri a strawberry and a Pina colda. They were about 20.00 each and when I say one did the trick that's all u will need.“

“Loved our dinner last night! Visiting from Virginia, and our waiter Paul was excellent with his explanations and recommendations. He even let us know about the Space X launch so we could go outside and see it! Food was so good, very large portions, reasonably priced. Wish we had one at home!“

“Surprisingly Tasty! Very casual, old, 1/2 surfboard tables. My guy ordered crabcakes with lots of crab which he really enjoyed. It had too much Old Bay or some kind of seasoning for me. He had a good baked potato too.
I had the Tuscan Trio - mahi topped with some crab mixture and one shrimp in a Parmesan garlic cream sauce. It was very good! Accompanied by wild rice mixture which soaked up the cream
sauce. Yummy! Lightly cooked green beans. Excellent meal! And unexpected. Friendly and helpful server too!“

“What a great staff. We showed up in the middle of a torrential downpour during Hurricane Debbie. The staff had towels ready for us to help dry off in the lobby while checking in. Room was nice and clean and big. The staff at the Bistro was super friendly and made it so we didn’t have to leave in the middle of a storm to grab dinner. Thanks to everyone at the hotel.“

“Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse- Cocoa Beach, FL- 4 Stars "I'm sure one of the frustrations of being a Western enthusiast of Japanese food and culture is you're confronted every day with the absolute certainty that you will die ignorant." - A. Bourdain One of the reasons I dislike coming to Cocoa Beach for reviews is that there are 100 restaurants and the majority are clip joints or tourist milkers. Don't misunderstand me here, I'm not knocking the tourists, I love not having a state income tax, I am, however; knocking those that rip them off as they give other proprietors, the area and the state, in general, a bad name. Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse is a joint in the Teppanyaki style of food prep. If you are unfamiliar, this is the style that was invented in Japan post-WWII by an enterprising entrepreneur by the name of Shigeji Fujioka of the Misono chain of restaurants in Japan. Most of us here in America know this style from the Benihana restaurant chain. Certainly a tourist trap, it boasted a fun touristy décor and a light warmhearted staff. My waitress was Davina and she is on top of things, prompt and 4000 times better than Amber in my previous dining experience in Cocoa Beach. Being served by a professional of Davina's caliber finally brought my blood pressure back down from dealing with the aforementioned Amber. I asked Davina for the Surf and Turf with Scallops and medium-rare bovine. After taking the orders of the rest of the table, Davina disappeared to the back and we soon saw our chef wheeling his cart of culinary destruction to our table. Everyone knows that half of this dining experience is the show the chef puts on and this guy, while his name escapes me at the nonce, put on a hell of a show. He was awesome and the food was downright wonderful. Grilling sliced steak medium-rare is not for the novice and this chap pulled it off in spectacular fashion. The Scallops, while slightly overdone for my taste, were delightfully flavored and left a succulent aftertaste. The salad was fresh, crisp and accompanied by the obligatory ginger-sesame dressing and I found the fried rice, while not my favorite item in the world, to be cooked properly with crisp veggies and properly seasoned. I always enjoy having my food prepared in front of me. This place is technically not in Cocoa Beach proper (this is no-man's land) this must be why the food is so much better. The Big Boy says, "If you are in the mood for some tasty grub, a good show and a fun time, give this place a try! #bigboydiningout #bigboy“

“Loved the atmosphere. The food was good but not the best. Not for the prices. Our server was nice and explained anything we needed to know, like do not feed the birds.
I got the calamari and the oysters. Never had oysters like this before, but they were good.“

“The last night of our short vacation in Cocoa Beach, my wife, son and I brought our dogs to the dog-friendly outdoor seating at Sunset Cafe. We're totally glad that we did - the service was fantastic (shout out to Jamie!!!), the food was prepared perfectly and came out quick. Absolutely the best conch fritters I've ever had. And genuinely, their fried foods were amazing with the perfect ratio of breading to seafood, good enough to remark on. My wife got a mahi filet with jalapeno cream sauce (a special) and we were blown away by how fantastic it was.
Oh - and the sunset was pretty nice, even though the sun had to poke through some heavy clouds. The vibe was nice, no mosquitos. Just a fantastic night - thanks again Jamie and the rest of the folks at Sunset.“
