The food is just as impressive. The braised pork pappardelle is easily one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. I also have to mention their chicken caviar. The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the caviar on top is fantastic. The pizza is also delicious. Even something as simple as the Caesar salad stands out. It’s fresh, simple, and savory.

“Fantastic first experience, Daniela was a great server. She had a great energy and gave perfect recommendations. The tuna tostones were literally perfect. We shared four of the smaller plates between two people and then had the cookie ice cream, with espresso. The manchego croquetas , gyoza and ropa vieja bao buns were all delicious. The unsanctioned Pinot white wine was also very good. Will 100% be back for more.“

My mom prefers her salmon very well done, and although we hadn’t been specific, Ryan personally came to our table to apologize, which truly wasn’t necessary, not they’re fault at all. He handled it so kindly and professionally, made sure the salmon was cooked exactly how she liked it, and even checked back after she tried it. The care and attention really stood out. Highly recommend this restaurant, we will definitely be back when in the area.“

It's an update on The Center for Subtropical Affairs, which was a little cooler, cheaper and more raw than Understory, but the new venue, to be honest, has better sound, drink options, and food options. I didn't know much about vermouth so I enjoyed the flight and knowledge of the bartender. not sure why theres so many low reviews, I had an amazing experience here. Very personable staff that customized the experience to my preferences. If you like vermouth or are looking to try something different this is a nice place to kill an hour at. Tasting with 4 vermouths was $20 and the pours were generous“

“I have had a positive experience at the restaurant and with prior wine orders - however this last order I was shorted 2 bottles on my last wine delivery at a total cost of over $60. I left two friendly voicemails and sent 3 friendly emails and received ZERO response and was forced to open a credit card dispute. I am very disappointed and will not be ordering wine from them again.

“This was our first time eating here in Grapevine Texas location. My husband and I had a Caesar salad and a meat lovers pizza. The Caesar salad was huge and we took home half of it. The pizza is crispy and fresh out of the oven. It was a great meal. We had a friendly and knowledgeable, waitress named Kelsey. On the way out, we met the owner Luis. He was very friendly and took the time to talk about their restaurants and all the other locations they had. We will definitely be back.“

“Based on all of the extremely positive reviews I saw, I thought this place was going to be overhyped, but it was not! We had a incredible meal. We got 4 à la carte plates (crudo, waygu bao, wontons, rice) between 2 people, plus the Hong Kong French toast for dessert. Everything was incredible. Great suggestions from our waiter, but I’m sure we couldn’t have gone wrong with anything on the menu. The wine list was small, but clearly well curated!

I have a few upcoming business trips to Miami, so I’m so excited to bring new people back and try any new seasonal offerings! Highly recommend.“

The food was absolutely amazing, but my only problem is that there was only one person for all the place, it took so long to bring each and Handroll .
With that I will add that for people who don’t eat shellfish you can’t change the “experience” option on the menu which was unfortunate because we were 3 people and 2 of us don’t eat shellfish and we wanted all to take the same so we could eat at the same time .
